I know they're mine and I kinda have to say it, but yeah They are great kids.
I just think its sometimes easier to get to know someone if you can put a face to it. I think its nice if they can start the cruise already knowing someone then make the most out of the days on the cruise making memories together

Anyways You needed to see a pic of our fam to understand this next post...

So the other night my husband comes to me and tells me he's worried what people will think when they see "our group" on the cruise.... now this is when you picture the pic of our fam.... and in a VERY white, blondish hair, bright blue eyed baby ( our foster son) and like thats not enough to make people go "HUMMM" throw my friend who's traveling with us to help me with him....She's blond with blue eyes. We will definatly turn a few heads

when were out in public and people stare.... I mean we live in a small north idaho town...people here adopt kids but its usally a all white fam with a baby of another nationality. Shantu my DH just tells people I had a mid life crisis what a dork.
I wish I could post a pic of our foster son but I cant post any photos of him anywhere or even post his name...But youll all meet him soon enough

What a great pic how fortunate your foster son is to have such a warm loving family to take care of him. I cannot wait to meet your "group."

Hi, looks like I am going to be joining you all on this cruise to celebrate my 40th birthday. I have cruised before but, this will be my first ever solo trip which I am a bit nervous about to be honest, especially meal times, but I am not going to let being single again put a stop to my disney holidays xx

HELLO EVERYONE!!!

My family and I will be joining you
This will be our 5th Disney cruise (the other 4 were on the the magic) and we will be staying on board for a 6th, the oct 13th western cruise, doing a back to back!
My oldest turnes 18 Nov 1st so this is his last chance to be part of the teens I'm a little worried about missing that much school since one of mine takes collage classes and one is going to be a freshman in high school, not to mention my husband teaches at the collage here....oh well anything is worth if for a disney cruise!!!

So there's Me ill be 34, My DH will be 38, My oldest DS will be weeks from 18 so 17, my DD will be 14, my youngest DS wil be 9, and our foster son (hopefully our son by then) will be 14 months...I'm also bringing my friend who will be 29 ( I think) to help me with the baby... He has medical needs. So thats us... super excited its gona take me awhile to get caught up on the threads but ill start tonight.

my family is going to be on this cruise.
Me, My brother his wife and two kids, and our parents!!! My mom's first cruise since the 80's which she was sick the entire time!!! I have done 3, 4 nighters. one on the wonder 2 on the dream. I'm excited for our first 7 day!!!

Hi All! My family and I will be sailing along with you all. I haven't been on the boards in some time and just realized there's already a thread. I took some time and caught up on the thread, so I'm all up to date.
We would love to join the FE group. I love the idea of splitting up the group when it gets large. We did the FE on our last cruise and it was quite time consuming going all over the ship for more than 60 people. I clicked on the link for submitting our info for the FE, so hopefully Beth will get it.
Can't wait to meet everyone and looking forward to October getting here sooner rather than later.

quick thought for the kids...I had my 8/9 yr old in mind...

I was bringing in the mail and josh asked why he never gets any mail? I said something along the lines you dont want any its all bills and junkmail. Later I was thinking how sad that is... Dont get me wrong I love our modern day convenices but that how the personal touch is lost sometimes...theres something nice about getting a letter in the mail.
anyways my thought was maybe since we have sometime before our cruise maybe some of the kids would like to be pen pals?? anyways let me know if any of you are interested
