Hey! We're also celebrating our 15th Anniversary on this cruise!


We'll be at Palo on the first night, and have reserved the segway excursion in Nassau.
Maybe we'll run into some of you onboard....less than 2 weeks to go!

We're celebrating our 7th Anniversary (a few days early - it's actually on the 24th).

I'm thinking they might be making quite a few anniversary celebration cakes on our cruise?

Hey everybody - We will be joining you - it is myself and DH - We cannot wait. This is a fairwell to summer cruise for me - I start back to my job of teaching the Monday after we get back (so sad) ...

Hey! I hadn't even noticed. We are in Durham. How cool! We are traveling with our DDs (13, 8, 2), my sister, her son (5), my niece (13) and a few friends and their kids. One of my friends son is 11. I'm sure the kids will run into each other. We are on deck 2..what deck did you get?

We are on deck 7 - got the last stateroom for a party of 4 on the ship! I guess it was meant to be! DW and I are planning to surprise our DD11 and DS15 with the news sometime this weekend. I can't wait to see the expressions on their faces....

We're celebrating our 7th Anniversary (a few days early - it's actually on the 24th).

Congratulations to all of you as well!!! Our actual anniversary date is the 18th.

We have not booked Palo yet (all were taken when I booked earlier this week but since only 50% are available pre-cruise I expect we can book it once on board Saturday). We've got to nail down excursions this weekend! My DS15 will be very interested in the Segway tour too!

I turned 40 last year on the 4 night and will turn 41 this year on the 3 night. DH always has his birthdays at WDW.

We're starting to get excited. It's been a busy summer and it seems like we were focused on so many other things that it seems surprising that all of a sudden the cruise is here. We're flying in on the 19th and staying at the MCO Hyatt. We'll be on the first bus over from the airport!

This will be our 7th Disney Wonder cruise. My DW and I will be joining my brother-in-law and his family who will be doing their first cruise.
My DW and I will be celebrating our 34 wedding anniversary.

Oh, goofydadeo, my DW and I also celebrated our 25th anniversary on the Disney Wonder. Congratulations!

BTW my DS15 plays ice hockey here in Raleigh, NC. Looks like you're in to hockey too as noted by your DIS name and signature!

I am a USA Hockey Certified Instructor. I retired from the game 3 years ago. I do miss it but after 33 years of 5 a.m. practices and 20 plus hours on the ice every weekend for 10 months out of the year I thought it was about time to hang up the whistle and skates and let some of the youngsters take control. (Plus my DW thought it would be nice if a spent some time with the family).
Good luck to your son this coming season. Please tell him to keep his head up and practice his skating because if you want to be a great Hockey player you first have to be a great skater.

Im new to the boards and not really sure of how the lingo goes but me and my wife were just married and this cruise is part of our honeymoon. Cant wait to celebrate it on this cruise. Its coming up quick!!!

Oops! I forgot to tell you our anniversary date! We will be celebrating our 15th anniversary on 8/20.

So....anyone else checking long range weather forecast? Looking kind of yucky as of last night, but if the weather there is as unreliable as ours is up here, I'll only believe the forecast when it's the day before! I've been checking the National Hurricane Center website too...should be interesting to see what develops (if anything) by the end of next week. We don't really care what the weather does (but I'm sure some/most of you might have a different feeling about it!)- it's our first trip away (without kids) in 4 years! We would be happy to stay docked in Port Canaveral if we are eating hot food (without crayons and/or Cheerios on the table) and getting up when WE want to! Although we ARE getting on a boat with +++ kids (enjoying their cruises with their families), so by day 2 or so if you see a couple wandering the ship looking completely lost and beside themselves, you'll know it's us!

ya i cant help but look at weather websites. only time will tell, who knows, the current activity might not even end up close to us. hopefully we have great weather and the bad weather avoids us!!

I was on the 4 night last year during this same week...I think we sailed 8/19. We were outrunning a tropical storm the whole cruise but it didn't put a damper on things for us at all. The pirate party got called off before the fireworks one night so they redid the entire thing the next. It was rainy in the AM on Nassau day but it cleared up at noon. Last year was a double dip and though CC was windy both days we had sun and good temps. The tropical storm (or whatever it was, it was a year ago and my mind is shot) parked itself off Port Canaveral. We ended up being diverted to Ft. Lauderdale and they bussed us all up to Orlando from there.

I'm not worried at all. Disney knows how to handle any situation and we will have a blast.
