Sailing August 20th 2009- Feeling Lonely

I'm jealous! We won't be fully paid til next Fri. when we get paid again. I just hope there's at least 3 spots left on the dolphin excursion otherwise my sister and daughter will be upset! Does anyone know how many spots they have total per time slot???

Oh, do not miss Palos! I can't say that loud enough. It's truly the highlight of the cruise.

I'm planning on booking tomorrow as well. We've stayed on the ship in Nassau in the past. Although, we may head over to Atlantis this time.

I'll be bringing 14-year-old boy. We couldn't drag him out of the stack on the last cruise.

My 15 year old HATED Aloft last year. He said that everyone was hanging out being boring. I was so disappointed because I expected him to spend more time there so that DH and I could be alone. Ah, the perils of having an only child! He said that he'd give it another chance this year but he wouldn't give me any guarantees. Gotta love him. :)

I booked the kid on the teen excursion on Castaway Cay (he loved that last time) and DH and I for Palo on Nassau night. I think that's it for us this time.

Hmmmm and here I have a 13 yr old that is looking forward to finally being able to go to the teen club. LOL! She'll have her cousin with her so maybe there's hope for them. I think I'm going to try and do the teen excursion at CC too. One more week to wait so maybe I'll get lucky. :goodvibes

It seemed like every teenager on the ship was on that excursion, so I doubt you'll have problems. He absolutely loved it.

We got our Atlantis excursion, and we'll be enjoying a pre-lunch massage at Serenity Bay! :thumbsup2

I know it currently says that we leave Nassau at 7:30 (or something like that) - anyone hearing anything more on them departing later (e.g. midnight or later)? I had heard that they were doing that on some sailings - just wondering if it is becoming a more regular thing, or if it is very sporadic.

Wow...that would be cool. Then I'd be able to go watch my dd swim with the dolphins and take dh to the casino. :rotfl:

We got our Friday night Palo reservation:banana::banana::banana:. We will just wing it from there.......................

Yay! Booked my sister, daughter and niece on the Blue Lagoon Dolphin encounter at 9:30am. No angry 13 yr old this trip ;o) Haven't talked the girls into doing the teen excursion though...they don't want to ride the bike.

Has anyone ever done the Discover Atlantis excursion? If so, how was it? Is anyone else planning to do this excursion?

Booked Discover Atlantis excursion for DH and I. We leave in 71 days...:cool1: Taking the train down so I've had DH start downloading movies for the kiddies. :goodvibes

Still haven't decided on what we'll to at CC. I think we are just going to wing it.

I've got parasailing booked for CC, and the Stingray Adventure booked for us as well.

Because we're getting married, we automatically get a Palo night - not sure when yet though...

Has anyone gotten their stateroom assignments yet?

You'll have to let me know after the cruise what you think about getting married on the boat. We are thinking of doing vow renewals in two years on the boat. I've done a little research but would like inside opinion after the event.

As for our staterooms we are in 2647 and 2641. My friend is down the hall and has her number as well.

Yay! A coworker of mine booked Fri. so her and her baby boy will be cruising with us. :cool1:

Add us to the 8/20 cruise. We booked a while ago, but I just found this thread. It will be me, DH, DD (8), and DD(5). We will be celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary on 8/21. Hoping to have dinner at Palo's that night. We have the booking, we just need the 5 year old to cooperate. Now that she and her DD won't be in the same group at the kids club, it might not happen- she has some attachment issues. But hey - we all have our issues.

And we will have fun regardless of all that!!!!

Welcome! I will have my DD (8) and D Nephew (5) and this will be there first time in separate clubs. While I'm not worried about my DD we are worried about my nephew. Maybe we can introduce them on the first day so that they know at least one other person. Might help them feel a little at ease. As much as one can hope for 5 yr olds. :goodvibes
