I hope everyone is having a great summer! We have a FROST warning for here tonight!
Anyone hearing anything about recent cruises staying later in the evening in the Bahamas? I haven't seen anything on the board about it lately. Fingers crossed...that would be awesome!

Where in NL are you? I was in St. John's in May - couldn't get over the weather! Snow the first day I arrived, and up to 18 or so 3 days later!! Not like ours is any better half of the time, but it seemed even more unpredictable than ours (for that week, anyway! ).

Looking forward to some warm weather on the cruise....although knowing our luck, it will rain the whole weekend!

Any other Canadians flying down the day before? We're going with Westjet (YHZ-YYZ-MCO), and staying at the Radisson Resort at the Port that night (stayed there before our cruise in Feb and loved it!).

Has anyone cruised in August before? Any tips/things to know about cruising that time of year vs February? The obvious one I'm really looking forward to is not having to figure out what to do with all of our winter coats and such.

I can't believe it's only a month and 10 days away!

Just booked our cruise last week!! Myself, my dh and my 2 boys are going. The boys are 3.5 and almost 2!!!

Congrats and Welcome kayladan04! I'm sure your boys are going to have a blast between the pools and beaches. My 2 yr old LOVED the pool last Sept. and my friends 2.5 yr old loves going swimming. I'm sure we'll bump into each other by the kiddie pool.

Unpredictable is not the word...yes, I'm in St. John's, and we've sometimes gotten 3 seasons in one day...LOL

Just booked and paid today! Talk about spur of the moment!!!

DW and I are celebrating our 25th Anniversary (8/18/84)

So its me (DH), DW and DS15 and DD11. Looking forward to another most memorable time on DCL.

Oh, BTW, this is a surprise for DS and DD - not sure when/how we will reveal it at this point... maybe in the car on the way down... gotta be sneaky!

Off to book the SPA villa!

Hey! I hadn't even noticed. We are in Durham. How cool! We are traveling with our DDs (13, 8, 2), my sister, her son (5), my niece (13) and a few friends and their kids. One of my friends son is 11. I'm sure the kids will run into each other. We are on deck 2..what deck did you get?
