The Red Line (Andrew Square) is the closest T stop. But from there it is a good 3 mile walk (at least). I know how to drive there no problem, but don't know all the names of the streets.

I went and picked up my dad this morning and we headed down to Castle Island to see who we might see.

First up....

Sagres from Portugal

Coast Guard Eagle...I was upset they didn't have more sails up.

Next....Europa from The Netherlands

some other various smaller ones...not sure who they were.

Of course there were many people there as well...

AWESOME!!! That is SOOOOOOOOO cool. I so wish I could have gone over there. Excellent shots. The Sagre's is one of my favorites.

Thanks Kyle....I am glad that I went. There were actually NOT a ton of people there like I expected.

What amazed me was how many State Troopers there were. From the moment we got off the highway...there was one if not more at EVERY intersection, all around the rotary, and many walking around the island as well.
Had to have been 100 of them...at LEAST, all together!
