In a recent thread we discussed vests/cargo shorts/bum bags, all as options for carrying park stuff. I said i was trying out vests on our NYE trip.

I am here to report that we fell in love with our vests....they worked out very well, now as to the fashion statement we made, I will let you be the judge.

That'll be something to think about for the future (I personally would need to be as thin as you guys are to feel comfy wearing one, just my own silly quirk), most definitely.

they really weren't that heavy when i was using it for passes,glasses,kleenex,lipstick,hand lotion, iPhone, rain ponchos,credit card. If I added bottled water into the two especially designed side pockets, it got a little heavy., but with only 1 water it was comfortable.

My husband loves his. I bought one too but I guess I must agree with bumbershoot that I don't feel too comfortable wearing the vest, perhaps because I am FLUFFIER than you and your hubby.

I finally ditched my fashion worries. I decided comfort and function was more important than looks and opted for cargo pants. I loved them! It is SOOO wonderful to not tote a bag of any sort. We will see if this works as well this year. This will be my first year without a stroller, so now no cupholder!
