I'm so sorry. We went thru the same thing with our 16 1/2 year old dog this past March. I still cry and miss her every day. Hugs to you.

I know you have a lot of support here but I just wanted to add my condolences and let you know you are in my prayers. It's been just about 1 year since we had to put sadie down. She was a 15 year old yellow lab. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do but I knew she was suffering and she had been so good to us for 15 years. She was the best dog I have ever had or will ever have.

I know exactly how you are feeling. Your dog will always be there with you and you two will meet again some day. Just remember that you did the right thing and your beloved companion thanks you.
