If I was these parents I would be asking questions too! Disney owns that town and will certainly work to cover their behinds and put the blame on anyone else. Look at the people on this thread who are quick to jump to the defense of the company before the facts are out. So many comments of "oh that poor bus driver." Yes, very bad day for the bus driver, however a family lost their child in a horrible accident. Perhaps we could allow that it was slightly worse for them? Not to mention the child who suffered a horrible death under a bus.
Those buses go way too fast through that campground where children and families mostly walk, bike, or drive golf carts to get around. Trees obscure a lot of the winding roads and there aren't many crosswalks or stop signs along the way to slow them down. School zones around schools have strict speed limits, I know Disney wants the transportation system to be fast and efficient but it seems it is coming at a high price lately.
Whether this child was being supervised or not is irrelevant, he was nine not two.
This upsets me greatly, I am horrified that this happened and yes on Disney property. I agree with the previous poster that said the bus traffic through the campground is detrimental. It was an accident waiting to happen and it has happened.
