I hate to say it, but I think soon the NTSB is going to be taking a hard look at WDW transportation in general, and mandating certain changes, whether they are Disney-like changes or not....

I'm not being disrespectful or anything but, these things happen, even with the best systems. Look at any RTA that moves as many people as Disney does and you will see lots of accidents. The problems at Disney are just getting press right now. I really don't think that there is anything that would warrant an NTSB investigation - it sounds like this incident was just a tragic accident.

My thoughts and prayers are with the child's family and friends as well as with the bus driver.

We've stayed at Ft. Wilderness many times ... you have a lot of unsupervised children out and about and those buses are huge. Just like the school buses and metro buses in your hometown it is hard to see if a little one crosses in front of you.

I don't know what happened; however, it is tragic for the child's family, the bus driver, and all involved. I used to work with someone who's grandson was killed in front of the Contemporary many years ago. The whole area was subsequently redesigned.

Anyway, it's tragic.

Very tragic. Until the details are out I can't lay the blame completely on Disney yet. The kids were on bikes. I cycle a lot on roads with traffic and there are things you have to do to stay safe when you are biking on a public road.

There are many drivers who are not very good at interacting with cyclists and many cyclists that are not very good at interacting with traffic. I have seen both.

Regardless of the fault it is sad to have people killed anywhere let alone at Disney.
