It does make sense if there are really more people that you want to invite.... I have really considered that too.
HiPinkTink - happy to see more 2009 brides popping up!![]()
My wedding is in 2009 too! Waiting to hear more!Another PJ to read
Congrats!
I'd definitely invite more people, I'm just not sure if they'd all come. People RSVP to my engagement party last May and then didn't show up. I wouldn't want that to happen at disney because that it would be wasted money that I could use for upgrades or whatever. It would scare me.
Hey tink! Glad I can now be a part of your PJ!!! We can sit back and enjoy the wild (but long) ride we are about to take![]()
Can't wait till you post pics!
We had the same struggle with our guest lists and ended up using this rule- we only invited our closest family (the ones that we spend most holidays with) and our closest friends. This number still ended up being around 75, which after some people decided not to come has made it's way down to 55.
On a side note, we had some people that were upset because we invited them! Some of the people on our invite lists were upset because they said that we knew they couldn't afford to come. Most of these people were added to the list because we didn't want them to feel excluded by not getting an invitation, so it can definitely backfire on you![]()
We also thought about trying for an Escape, but realized we had too many and needed a Wishes one. Plus, there are so many other options when planning a Wishes wedding.![]()
I liked SBP too but my DH had same concerns about being to open, but we both want to be close to the MK and castle( at least you can see it from the WP) so thats where we really want. The AC in July was a plus too!
Another probable 09 bride here!
Congrats on starting your journal - looking forward to keeping up with it.
