SAB question

For those of you who have been to SAB--- is there a shallow section anywhere other than the kiddie pool? Since the kid pool is going to be closed during our visit, I was just wondering if my daughter will be able to experience the sand bottom. She is almost 47 inches tall, so she can't stand without swimming or at least bouncing. ( I am assuming the pool is around 4 feet)

There is the kiddie pool at the back of the pirate ship and the sand area where she can wade easily

Yes..The sinking sands section is perfect for little ones.

Yes...there is a zero entry section in SAB closer to the YC side. It is perfect for the little ones, but be prepared for a suit full of sand when you get out

I think this is the "kiddie pool" area that the OP referenced that will be closed during their visit.

The depth in several parts of the rest of SAB is 3 - 3.5 feet, so your daughter should be able to experience the sandy bottom in those areas.
