My sister is taking a 1 day only Disney class at a local Community College. This is her 1st trip to Disney (our 4th), wondering what kinds of questions should she ask at the open forum?

A little background:
going: Parents (60 & 70yrs old), Sister & kids (sister husband 8yr old boy & 5 yr old girl), and us (me, husband, 8yr old daughter)
staying: POP Century, June 9-16th
tickets: MYW (considering upgrading to hoppers, but don't think we will hop much if at all, alot to see, very hot & grandparents along)

The only question I can think of (but I have been before) is how to do Disney in the summer, hot, busy months. (leave it open to many suggestions)

Can you guys think of any thing else important to ask a Disney expert that is putting on a class that might help us?

Ask if they have a system to predict or guess-timate crowd levels for specific dates (like TGM or touringplans). Might save a subscription to one of those....

Have fun!!!!

This sounds interesting. Can you give me the name of the college doing the class? Do you know who is teaching it?

My sister & Mom are going & its at Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC) in LaSalle/Peru, Illinois. The guys name is Mike - I wondered if it was Tour Guide Mike, but could never find the instructor's name & TGM's last name to make the connection.
They live closer - only like 25-30 miles away & I am over 1 hour away, so I am letting them go & ask my questions - only after all the research I have done & these GREAT boards.....I don't have many.:rotfl:

I checked both of their last names. The instructor is not Tour Guide Mike.

That would be a fun class to take! But, I would have to fight myself to not interrupt the instructor because I have learned so much on the DIS.

That's what I was thinking!! "Um, excuse me, but you can take a bus from directly DHS to AK without having to go to a resort first" :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Gotta love the DIS!!!!
