S.S. Member Cruise 2010 information is on dvcmember.com

This was our second members cruise, and as it wasn't as great as the first one we were on was - 2007 -, the people we cruised with MADE this cruise for us. Mary & Mark, Dave & Tanya, Sue & John, Flo & Danny, Joanne, Susan, Marsha, Mark, Kenna, Monika, and on, and on.

We are scheduled for the 2010 Members Cruise and are looking foward to it. However, we are saddened that many of the above will not be joining us. But we are so very happy to have met them and will hopefully be able to cruise together again someday. They are the best people we have ever met on a cruise. And we are looking forward to meeting new friends on the 2010 cruise.

And, in MHO, Mary has the best knowledge about these cruises. She is just a wonderful person and knows alot. Thanks Mary!

We were on the last 2 Members Cruises before 2009 as well. The cruises are slightly more expensive than a regular 4 day cruise. We had booked repeatedly because of the incredible guests, the incredible gifts, and overall experience associated with this particular cruise. As was said above the '09 cruise was not one of our favorite for the DVC experience. It was however the BEST cruise we have EVER been on for overall experience. The people we met and have become friends with is simply amazing. We all chatted for the prior year on the dis member cruise thread and what a great bunch of people. As Chris said above, we hope to cruise with our friends again. Alot of the cruise is what you expect and what you make of it. As for expectations, we had very high ones, due to DVC's previous cruises. They had set the bar VERY high, and we became "used" to it. What we made of it was the best cruise we have ever done.
I would recommend to anyone who has never been, to do the members cruise and make your own opinions. I think it is a great idea and well worth the experience. If you have been before, try it again and see if things are better this year. I would be trying to go again this year, but we have scheduled the WBTA which sails 2 days after the members cruise this year.
