Will be leaving in 3 weeks for our very first cruise ever, and just trying to figure out the an estimate of our onboard $ we'd be spending...(I'm obsessing over this, I know, but it's a fun & exciting obsession!)

I've read at various places that DCL has guidelines on tipping. Our total is $76.25. The question is, is this the same amount for children as well as adults? (I know it's per person...) And what about the clubs & the nursery? We don't tip them? Or do we? We will be using the club & the nursery, for our DSs. The guidelines only stated the dinning room servers & stateroom hostesses.

Anyone with answers and/or suggestions...all welcomed! Thank you! :wave2:

Yes - the cost is per person even for kids (and infants, too, I'd guess). The child care positions are non-tipped positions. However, they can accept small gifts. We passed out phone cards to CMs who really helped make our trip magical.

Our 2 servers ( Jan and Kecha) were so amazing and gave so much attention to my DD I happily tipped more than recc. If you receive the same excellent service tipping will be very painless.
