?'s about Yak&Yeti, Tusker House

I have a question for anyone who has dined at either of the full service restaurants in AK. My son has a severe allergy to soy sauce, which is triggered by something in soy sauce even being warmed in his presence. .I know Tusker house is a buffet, so are the tables near the buffet? I have looked at the menus and can tell there is very little he could eat at Yak& Yeti, but can you smell the sauces when you are seated? I know that WDW will let me talk to the chef, but I am more concerned about everyones experience in the restaurant. He is not bothered by someone eating a dish w/ soy sauce at the table, more so if it is being warmed near him. Obviously once we get there we are pros at figuring out which places are safe, just trying to make my ADR's and this is our first visit since they've opened! Thank's for everyone's help.

I would avoid Yak and Yeti - there's soy sauce on every table. There's no way to know if somebody pouring some on a hot dish will affect your son.

Well i have never been to Yak and Yeti, but i have been to Tusker house which has magnificent food by the way. I don't ever recall seeing an soy sauced foods but too be safe i would suggest going their for breakfast. You can make resevations their so that you can get to te park before it actually even opens and when you done wait for the people to take down the rope and run to your favorite ride in AK before anyone else.
