One more question for you (ok will probably be more) but where is the best place to park? I'll be going to DCA only and disney's website and map of parking isn't real clear to me. I will be coming north bound on Harbor and turning left (west) on Katella. Can I park in Lion King/Timon Parking off of Katella and catch the tram to the parks? allears.net and DL's website only mention the Mickey and Friends garage in their written directions but the parking map shows me the Lion King option would be better. What do you think?

TIA

Mickey & Friends is my preferred lot. It's a structure so your car stays dry/cool (seasonal clearly), there's restrooms at the bottom (key if you uh, need them) and the shuttles run very constantly dropping you off at the top of downtown Disney. Of course it's also a big lot and a lot of people are there so some prefer to get to the outdoor lots.

Not all lots are open every day and ones like Lion King open up only when things get crowded. There's also a few lots that don't have regular shuttle service well outside of the immediate park.

Of course it's not always your call. On a slow day they may push everyone to one lot or on a busy day push you away from one even if there's spaces (to avoid backups).

The Lion King lots are not always open but you can always drive thru and check. The Timon lot has tram service, the Simba lot does not, keep that in mind. We like both lots for different reasons, we seem to park in Mickey & Friends more only because it's always open. :)
