Hi:
I'm sure my questions have been asked and answered many times, but here goes. Can you get tickets for just a day at DC. DH loves birds and I know he would love DC, but really not interested in Sea World this trip as we have been many times and will probably go again in the fall when we go Disney World with our whole family, children and grandchildren. I thought it would be fun for just DH and I to do DC so that he can take his time and really enjoy the birds. Also, for you veterans, how huge is the difference between doing and not doing the dolphin swim? Thanks for the help.

The ticket you buy is for one day at Discovery Cove. The SeaWorld or Busch Gardens option is complimentary. We very much enjoy the dolphin encounter and consider it the main draw of the park.

I wouldn't go without doing the dolphin swim at least once. It is beyond description what it is like to be towed in the water by those docile mammals. The park is beautiful and worth the day spent there.
