Late to the party, but we did WDW to DL in 2015. Well, it was actually from Nor Cal to WDW and then to DL via the Smokies. It was great!

We boondocked all the way to FL and most of the way to DL. We only paid for camping at The Fort, in the Smokies, and RV parks for a few days in Denver then at DL for the 24 hr kickoff for the 60th.

You'll have a great time. The Fort is by far the best RV park we've ever stayed in.

We're hoping to do it again in 2018.

Tried to reserve a day early but was no vacancy

I had a hectic week at work and I'm just catching up on the boards.

Fantastic video TR. I'm really enjoying it.

I love your kids hamming it up when the camera is pointed at them. And not to say you look old, but it took about half way through the first video before I realized one of the girls was your wife. I thought both were your daughters. The "NO" from your DW several times and the "I might be in trouble" after the hot tub video had my cracking up. That is exactly how my DW would be if I tried this. Tell yours not to be self conscious. She's adorable.

One question. Are you using your phone for the video or a GoPro? It looks great (at least on my iPad Mini). Love the interlude music too.

Another fun installment.

I can't believe the Fort was booked up tonight. I thought January was one of the slower times. The Rolex 24 hour sports car race is going on right now in Daytona. I'm considering coming down for it again next year and spending the week beforehand or after at the Fort. Sounds like I better decide soon and get a reservation in.

Now, I can't wait till you all spend your first day at Disney!

This cross country trip is on my bucket list. It may be by RV or it may just be via car and hotels but its going to happen as soon as I retire in 2 years.

I've actually done the car trip to and from Texas several times years ago from the East coast so it's the California side after Texas that I'm looking forward to.

I don't remember if you have ever been to the Fort before. I was wondering on your thoughts. And you made it into our favorite loop(s). I love the 100/200 loop. Close to the marina, trading post and Trails End.

Looks like today's weather should be much nicer. The rest of the week should feel like California weather. Sunny, 70s except with humidity.

I don't remember if you have ever been to the Fort before. I was wondering on your thoughts.

My thoughts....I wish we were not so busy with the parks otherwise we would sure enjoy our stay here. Its beautiful! You could make your vacation here without going to the parks. I love how people everywhere do up their site with a Disney theme. The wifi here in the early morning is 9mbps down and 2mbps up.
Today we get to go to Magic Kingdom.
