Rustic kitchen ideas needed.....

Anyone have ideas how to make my honey maple kitchen appear more rustic? We plan to put granite counter tops and stainless appliances but not sure what else I can do to change the style of the kitchen? Considered painting or glazing the cabinets but my hubby doesn't approve. I have also have natural oak floors. Just want a new look without having to replace all the cabinets. Thanks for any help....

Maybe some sort of wash on the cabinets to make them more rustic.

Perhaps a farmhouse or rustic type sink if you are replacing the sink.

A peel and stick backsplash like tin tiles or something.

Rustic light fixtures.

A nice rustic rug to cover the floors if you don’t like them but don’t want to replace them.

Change out the cabinet hardware and faucet to something more rustic.

All easily changeable if you or DH doesn’t like something and cheaper than a massive kitchen remodel.
