Is anyone here training to run the half marathon in Jan. 2005? I was thinking about doing it, just to say I DID it, but 13 miles is a LONG, LONG way to run. I just started trying to run last week, as exercise, and I think I can now run 1/10th a mile! lol So, 13 is a LOT more than that!
BUT, I was thinking if I joined a gym, and ran on a treadmill, I would only have to increase my length by 1 mile a month, or 1/4 mile a week, in order to be able to run 13 miles by Oct 2004, giving me 2 months to "really be able to run it" lol. What do you think? Crazy? Stupid? Am I just bored? Is it just another PLOY to get to WDW? <--- real reason
Anyone else want to do this with me? I know we have the WISH WALKERS, but are there any WISH RUNNERS yet?

I love the way you've broken this down into achievable goals, with room to spare at the end to fine tune your training! Makes it seem like it's not such a huge undertaking. You can certainly do this, and I think you need to keep us all motivated by posting your monthly progress.
