I had the cannollini -- oh-so-good and a ceasar salad. Then, for dessert I had the tiramisu -- to-die-for delicious! I took lots of pics for the TR when I can get organized enough to start it.

Your last day sounds like fun, and I bet WCC will be a good last meal!

Yep, I've been to WCC numerous times....Oh my gosh, you are going to LOVE WL! I can't believe you've never been there!

Wow, looks like you have a lot of Disney eating in store for you guys! Yummy choices, too! Congrats on getting everything you wanted. oooh - and you're doing the GF tea? Loved it. I don't think I have had so much tea to drink in one sitting before. It was sooooo good. Loved the cute little sandwiches too. I almost forgot that it was 90 something degrees outside and 100% humidity! haha. Can't wait to hear about WCC - I've always wanted to go there and check it out.

We were at Whispering Canyon a few weeks ago. What a blast. Plus enough food to feed an army! Make sure you ask for ketchup (unless your foot swells up again... or Tim feels like extra exercise). Wilderness Lodge is amazing! The attention to detail was, IMHO, incredible, even for Disney. You'll love the restaurant and the lodge.

OOH good! HAHA OMG my poor foot! No swollen foot this trip lol. I have a race to run, lol. I will cry if something happens to my foot, lol. That was such a freak thing. I have never had any foot problems before. Thank God whatever it was wasn't permanent lol!

Can't wait to see the lodge!

great ADR choices we tryed WCC for the first time a few weeks ago it was really good-- we got the skillet its a ton of food!! but when isnt there a ton of food in disney right? LOL!! All your choices look so good i bet you are glad all of that is out of the way and done

I hope we keep winning too!! I love where we are and the articles I keep reading. I can't wait to keep doing well. I hate that people said we won the first few games to luck and what not, but as the season keeps progressing, its not hard to see that Denver is great this year! We've allowed less points scored than ANYONE in the NFL and even less in 4 games than we did in our last game last season! I'm just so happy!!

I can't wait for your review! You are going to some great places!! I hope we can do something for my 21st and also maybe next year! I would be so sad if I didn't get any vacation next year!! The cruise will be so great though!

I think you can walk to FW if you used the bike path or something. But, it probably takes awhile. I think it's easier just to catch the FW/Contemporary boat from WL. FW is usually the first stop.

I'm sure they do horseback rides. I wonder if you have to call and set something up though.

Have you ever been to Hoop Dee Doo?? We went on this past trip and it was so much fun! The food is good and the entertainment is great.

You have some wonderful ADR choices! I agree...you should do WCC. We loved their dinner, and will be trying their breakfast next month. Definitely do the skillet!

Lynn! We got back on Thursday but I have been out of town and today is my first day back to work. I thought I would share my thoughts with the deluxe dining plan. We enjoyed it but you spend A LOT of time waiting and eating. We probably won't do it again and we really didn't save that much money. It was a good experience but we spent too much of our park time waiting for slow servers, we were at most TS places for 2 hours+, it was CRAZY!

Denver is doing well. I'm really happy for them... it's a nice surprise too because I thought they were going to be awful this year I know, Boo me. haha

Hello Lynn! I'm trying to get caught up on life and the DIS after returning from the world! Your ADR's look yummy and I can't wait to read all about them! I'd love to do the GF Tea one day as I'm a tea drinker but with a DH and DS, I'm outnumbered!

I thought of you on our trip when I had the Penne Caprese at Tutto! OMG! It was simply delicious and it was actually my favorite meal of the trip! I think I mentioned I used to live in Italy (graduated high school in Italy) and it was extremely authentic. My DS had a great memory there too and they didn't really do more than any other TS restaurant, however it's one of his favorite memories of the trip because he had two desserts there and of course they sang Happy Birthday to him. Man, I'm dreaming of Penne Caprese...

Hey Lynn...finally caught up! The ADRs look great. That's disappointing the the online system is so screwy. I hope you get the Narcoosees ADR, though it sounds like you will.

When we were at WL this summer, I think remember reading that the path to Fort Wilderness is 3/4 mile from WL. Well, the path may be longer but the distance from WL to FW is 3/4 mile.

But as a previous poster pointed out, the boat ride is easy and quite relaxing, too.

I didn't know there was a special holiday AK parade! Do you have any info on it? We're going for a short trip in Dec. and I want to hit all of the holiday stuff at the parks. I had my trip all planned and now I hear about this holiday parade!

Did you know they do a special Illuminations for the holidays too? I learned that about a month ago on the dis.

If I remember correctly, the holiday parade - the Jingle Jungle Parade - at AK replaces the Jammin' Jungle Parade in mid-afternoon. It's not an additional parade. They put holiday decorations on the regular floats and teh characters are in holiday attire. It's cute...very festive!

Hey girl! Trying to catch up on things. I got way behind. WCC...haven't been there in a long time. 2006 was the last visit I think. Nice place! Wehn we ate there I had a cajun chicken and pasta. I don't think it's offered anymore. Sidney had the skillet though and he LOVED it! I was reading menus a while back and the breakfast skillet sounds yummy too!

I did just get back from Disney! it was definitely a good time

Training has kinda stalled at 10miles... haven't done much since then. a few 10k's and the like but nothing over that really. Gotta kick my butt in gear this month!
