Disney Wine and Dine 10k part 2
Our next character stop was in Morocco (I believe) for Tourist Genie!
We’ve never met him before so this was exciting! We kept running (possibly skipping a character in France) and got out onto the Boardwalk where we passed Chip and Dale out at ESPN. We’ve got a great picture with them from the marathon so we kept running.
The Boardwalk was also the location of the mile 5 marker. We waved hi to the Beach Club as we ran by!
On our way back into Epcot we got a few more funny running pictures:
And we saw Sebastian out so we grabbed a picture with him:
No photopass picture but that’s okay. He told us Dole Whips were the only thing worth going on land for! There weren’t many photo stops (if any) after him so we cruised along…
To mile 6…
...past Spaceship Earth…
..and to the finish line! It was still dark out when we finished which was sort of cool because we’ve never managed that before (thanks daylight savings time!)
Overall, another fun race! Not much variety in Disney’s 10k course from weekend to weekend but I like what they have (and I’m not sick of it yet) so you won’t hear me complaining. We were pleased with our race and couldn’t help but love these medals!!
Seriously, this guy is bigger than the marathon medal we got in 2015!
We hopped in line for the bus back to the resort. While we waited Caitlin indulged in the breakfast of champions…
Oreos!
