Rumors that Disney is in negotiations to sell Star Wars back to George Lucas!

Because nobody was dumb enough to try it. How is it any different ahnt Han Solo actually going into an asteroid field or any other unusual tactic that helps our heroes succeed by the skin of their teeth? That's what ALL of these movies are like.
Or latching on to the back of a Star Destroyer like a bat on a cliff wall. I always wondered, no windows in a Star Destroyer for someone to look out and see a ship on the side of the bridge?

And going back a second to the Reeva being in the perfect location. Boba Fett just happens to be waiting around for the same thing Han was, the garbage being dumped and acting like a piece of garbage. No one ever asked why. We just accepted it because it made him more of a great bounty hunter.

Like Brian said earlier, It may be a case where I just hate this movie so much that I just can't forgive other questionable things in it, like the Holdo Maneuver. Because boy do I ever hate this movie! I left the theater mad and ready to be done with Star Wars for good after TLJ.

Yeah, that's exactly the phenomenon that I was talking about. Similar things happened in the OT and like, every other sci-fi, action/adventure, superhero, etc. movie. Because you have a distaste for it, you pick it apart. Things seem worse than they are because of the feelings that the movie elicits. I know that I absolutely do it with comics and such. I will complain how they what they have done witht he X-Men "makes no sense" and yet, I'm usually cool with comics not making any sense because they really aren't obligated to. That's not REALLY what bothers me about it, but because I don't like it, I will call them out on everything.

I'm sure I have that for Rise of Skywalker. And JJ Abrams. I bet it's not as bad as I remember. I watched a clip of the Rey Kylo parts and that's still enjoyable. Then again it brought me this...

If there's one flaw in TROS it's that they didn't show the "Somehow." They should have covered in the film instead of Fortnite. I don't really have a problem with him coming back though.

I honestly love this line, because as the audience, this is exactly what I thought about. Somehow, Palpatine returned. And all shows are now scrambling to try and explain the somehow haha.

I watch Screencrush on YouTube and he always drops that clip in for comedy in his recap videos.

Same with Luke and being the grumpy pessimistic miserable hermit. There has to be more of explanation than one event in time for this, no matter how traumatic that one event was.

Here is an example of the movie Logan. Logan was hermit who was a butthole and mad at the world. It was very believable because Logan was always a butthole and mad at the world a little, and had experienced painful loss time and time again over many years to turn him into the ultimate butthole who is mad at the world. It totally works in that movie, when it seems like invasion of the body snatchers in TLJ.

I believe originally Matt Smith was cast as a young Palpatine and was going to be revealed as his clone and they even filmed scenes with him that got cut when the story changed again.

But to touch on what people were saying about Finn earlier on (I’m at Islands of Adventure rn and just catching up 🤫), John Boyega has signed on for the New Jedi Order film so hopefully we’ll get Finn as one of Rey’s students like in the Lego SW stuff

Not exaggerating, the Lego Star Wars specials are some of my favorite things they’ve produced recently.

Did you play the game? The lego characters have the most awesome interactions between them. It's a gem.

Agree too, the xmas special is *chefs kiss*
I haven’t! I only watched them because my son saw one of the thumbnails on Disney Plus and then got into all the various Lego shows. I finally paid attention to the Summer Vacation special and died laughing at so many parts, especially Vader and Palpatine on Scarif.

If you get a chance I highly recommend it. It's puzzles and super low stakes. Even if you "die" there is no limit on lives so the character just reappears, etc

Their interactions also depend on the outfit the characters are wearing. It's endless fun :rotfl:

Well, I just got back from Indy - it's very good!
Going tomorrow. I can't wait. I don't care if it's Old Man Indy. Harrison Ford loves that character and playing that character more than anything else. He loves Indiana Jones the way we love Han Solo. Very few actors get a chance to break the mold on what a hero should be. I'll legitimately cry like a baby the day he leaves this Earth. Seriously, if you haven't, please watch him in Shrinking. It's the best thing he's done since the 1990s.
