Rumors that Disney is in negotiations to sell Star Wars back to George Lucas!

Give me one other example on live action film of a force sensitive person with zero training successfully using the Jedi Mind trick or using the force to perfectly pull an object into their

Correct I agree, and what are all those force sensitive kids sent to. Oh that's right, extensive training to improve their skills.

Yeah, but they didn't inheret those skills.

Anakin was pod-racing for crying out loud - ZERO training! It happens.

Was really looking for something more than "beliefs", not that it isn't true, but I would like to see the source.
Read what I wrote, you can find some basic charts and graphs, but they are not complete. Streaming data is very hard to track unlike traditional linear TV viewership numbers. By design by the way. They don't like us knowing how much something is watched.

Samba TV has some data, but it is quite incomplete at times. You somewhat rely on the streamers to report their own stuff, and they are not likely to paint themselves in a bad light.

I am really not trying to be cagey on this, if there was clear cut data I would link it. There has yet to be a universal accepted way to measure viewership numbers on streaming platforms. You are relying on self reporting in many cases from the streaming companies, and when they don't have good numbers they don't talk about it much. If it's a huge hit you will see them talk about it a good bit though, and it will make their top 10 list. Some use minutes streamed, some use total viewers, I have even seen peak numbers viewing at one time reported. It is really hard to compare one show to another. Almost impossible to compare two from different streaming platforms. I still think we may have someone figure this out at some point, because I doubt the advertisers like not being able to compare objectively where to spend their marketing dollars.

Slim Profit recently? Is $4.5 Billion considered slim profit in 2022? What am I missing here?

This thread has become nothing but people arguing about something that's not related to the title now.

And I'm talking about the current High Republic and Old Republic novels that are currently being written and are cannon. They have multiple characters in them from all different planets that are Jedi and they discuss being taken away from their parents.

This is something I saw earlier. Andor and Obi Wan I believe was right around the Book of Boba number.

Yeah I am not reading that crap. The current Disney story group can attempt to cannonize anything they want to, but it does not mean it will line up with the original creator of the Star Wars universe's rules / cannon.

So now pod racing, driving a supped up go cart basically, is the equivalent of performing a complex Jedi mind trick and using the force to acquire an objects from another highly trained force user?

My immediate thought when Rey pulls the saber from the snow away from Kylo, is how on earth does she know how to do that? I think it is a little funny that Mark Hamill had the exact same response. I believe his words were "What? She has never even been to Degaba for training"! The only logical explanation which is what JJ ended up doing in #9, is that she was strong with the force because she was the heir to an incredibly powerful force user.

Flying a podracer is WAY more complicated that performing a mind trick. Those things are super fast death traps, and he was NINE.

Luke also was able to use the Force to grab a lightsaber without any real training.

I briefly looked through this Youtuber's videos and he seems to have a very strong anti-Disney bias. I wouldn't trust anything he says at face value in terms of Disney selling the rights to Star Wars IMO.
I agree!

Sooo you are pick and choosing what cannon is now? And anything you don't like is crap? Are you secretly the hater youtuber?

If I recall correctly, Watto had him doing it at an early age since Anakin was his slave and to earn some extra money. And since he had the force, pod racing was easier for him. “He can see things before they happen. He has unusually quick reflexes”.

Yup. Same reason Luke could fly an X-wing with no training and Rey could fly the Falcon (although let’s be real, she did a really bad job of it but people still complained).

Yeah, but just the fact that a human could do it was impressive. Mostly only certain species have fast enough reflexes.

True - Rey wasn't exactly a great pilot by any means. She was more knowledgeable about the mechanics of the ship. Otherwise, she bumped into things a lot.

Also, if you REALLY wanna know the nerd answer to Luke's flying an X-Wing, it's because both the T-65 X-Wing and the T-65 Skyhopper were both produced by Incom corporation, and they use the same control layouts for all their craft. Nevermind that one is an airspeeder and one is a starfighter. But you know, that's one of those unnecessary evplanatory lore patches, like why the Kesel Run is measured in parsecs.

Were there any other humans in canon that were known to be podracers other than Anakin and Ramil of Serenno?

Your right, since covid, they have turned up the eps machine. But look at all those lean years it took to get there. Is it reasonable to expect D+ to get there in a few years?
