We were given the boot to the TP Community page because there is dead silence from the Mouse so our discussion is not official planning ....... just dreaming.

Mouse says another announcement coming mid May - could be an opening date or could be check back later ...... no breath holding.

Thanks for the information. I would think it would be open by August, that would be a really long postponement, like almost 4 months. I'll check back in May.

I'm still waiting on DH's shirt and the buttons! I wish my shirt wasn't quite so big - going to wash today and hoping it might shrink a bit!

LOVE this! Mine is from Bustedtees, I think, and I like yours better! I love the red accent in the background, mine isn't as dramatic, and her toe shoes aren't as red either - they really POP!

I finally ordered my Admiral Ackbar shirt from the series - I kept forgetting so it may not get here on time

I thought it looked a little different than the picture. I was expecting pinkish toe shoes and wasn't expecting the red highlights in the background but I'm very happy with it. It's also a little bigger than I'd like but it was a big jump between sizes so I didn't want to go down. I like the way tee fury gives you to size (measure a shirt that fits well and compare).

Cool on the Ackbar one. I have to go on HM this year since I don't remember it all that well. Then decide on additional shirts.

Since this is the thread about everything, I watched TFA again and I adore Han and Chewie in this movie! They are so awesome!! I can't wait to meet Chewie. There were just a lot of lovely character moments and some beautiful visuals. I'm so happy with it (plot holes, stolen plot points and all). I even found Kylo Ren a lot less annoying the 2nd time around. Although I still wish Han had grabbed his cloak instead of touched his face.

Since this is the thread about everything, I watched TFA again and I adore Han and Chewie in this movie! They are so awesome!! I can't wait to meet Chewie. I even found Kylo Ren a lot less annoying the 2nd time around. Although I still wish Han had grabbed his cloak instead of touched his face.

I picked up our copy on Thursday night and I watched Friday night (1st time was at theatre). I enjoy it. As someone who grew up with Star Wars, I'm totally satisfied with TFA. I'm trying to talk my 4.5 yr old, who loves the characters and the idea of Star Wars, to watch but he hasn't shown much interest yet.

Would've watched again last night but (way off topic now) had to watch Outlander.

When the app first opens up, you should see the "My Plans" screen. At the bottom (without scrolling), there should be a blue circle with a plus sign in it (if you don't see it, scroll down and then scroll back up and it should appear). Tap the circle and five smaller circles will pop out around it (L to R: FastPass+, Tickets, Dining, Add Plans, and Shopping). Tap the second from the right - it's a little magic hat symbol - and you'll be taken to a screen that allows you to add Parades, Fireworks, Shows, or Notes to your plan. The Notes function allows you to enter a description, details, date, location, and time.

ETA: It is definitely not intuitive, so don't feel bad for not finding it! I only found it by tapping randomly to see what would happen.

Regarding the new FP stuff that people were discussing yesterday, I found I was able to tweak a few times, etc. yesterday that I couldn't before. Interesting...

I will be interested to see if anyone reports about getting their SDFPs from the app instead of the kiosks...especially as I leave in FOUR days!

I better get cracking...lots to do...

I have been reflecting on my new haircut...I feel that I look a bit like Hillary Clinton, or maybe Gloria Steinem. So, if you think you see Hilary with a ROL button instead of a political button, it's probably me. Although I won't be in a suit...

Hey all !!! Happy Sunday ! Hope all is well --- going thru a bit of "Disney mourning"

DW and I have been going to WDW for thanksgiving for over 20 years--- last 10 with our DD , and now with our DS

Was ready to book for this year ( actually had POP booked already) and now doesn't look like we are going to be able to go- (.

With our new jobs, only time we are going to be able to go on vacation is when the schools are closed -- ( we are booked for June 30- July 9 --- )

And DS will be starting Kindergarten, and won't be able to take him out of school for 5 days --- our holiday trip is tradition for us --- can anyone relate?

I can't relate to going to Disney on a holiday - it has always been a dream of mine to go when everything is decorated for Christmas! Someday! But I can relate to having holiday traditions that I treasure! I'm really sorry that you won't be able to do your Thanksgiving trip - 20 years is a long time! Hopefully next year things will be different and you can resume your tradition!

I doubt it will get here on time - all four of them are great! I may have to re-order Leia for next trip because I like the red pops of color so much! I hope I ordered the right size in Akbar, hoping it's not huge again. I was rushing so my measuring was a bit suspect!

So, I saw the movie two times the first week because I wanted to see it without my kids the first time! My DH and I went to see it opening day so I could fully enjoy it! My son tends to get nervous in movies, and I knew I wouldn't be able to completely enjoy it if I was worrying about him. I had to confess to him before we went that I had already seen it since we had planned to go together - I told him that I had been a fan since before he was born, and I wanted to see it without having to worry about taking care of someone else's needs! He completely understood and it was definitely the right decision - during "the scene" he was a mess and had to flee the theater, lol!

In other joyous news, DW got rear-ended this morning by a 20-something who had to have his mom bring the correct insurance paperwork... .. No injuries but the car is just barely over a year old so a bit annoyed.

Thanks !!! Still trying to figure out a way, but probably going to have to miss it --- the weather, decorations, etc are amazing that time of year !! We always look forward to the "CP" --- the guest narrator list is soemething that we always watch for !!

My DD7 really wants to see TFA. We decided no in the theater because of the village massacre and THE scene. She's seen the DVD at our house and asking about it. DH is really uncomfortable with her seeing it, I'm ambivalent. We'll see. Maybe we'll let her watch it in time for ep 8.

Ugh! I had an accident about 2.5 weeks ago. Still haven't gotten the insurance money, but I did get a new car (mine was totalled). Hope your process goes smoothly!

I remember you said you ended up sideways or something like that. Luckily it was a small car against a Grand Cherokee. I knew I bought her a big, heavy car for a reason! Just not looking forward to fighting with insurance! Sounds like you've had a lot of fun with that.
