We're definitely going to do the Family Magic one, because it sounds awesome and I think they'll really get into it. I booked the pirate adventure cruise out of BC&YC because I think it sounded cool that they run around the World Showcase - mine love the Agent P stuff and it just seems fun. I'm going to talk it over with them and see what they think - this is the last year my son could do it, so I'm hoping he'll give it a shot. He generally doesn't tend to get self-conscious about being "too old" for things, and he loves meeting other kids whether older or younger, so I think he'll go for it!

Maybe the 11 year old will want to go to look after the younger one, but then get in the spirit too! It sounds like the CMs do a nice job!

My kids are younger than yours, but loved the Albatross Adventure Cruise, especially that we weren't there with them!! Make sure you're back at the dock 15 mins or so early to see them come in. I won't spoil it for you, but have your camera ready!!

hmmm, intriguing! Yes, I think that would appeal too to be without us. Every year one of there favorite things is our date night when they are in the babysitting club, lol! And it's a good value as far as Disney extras go, so I think it's totally worth it for them to give it a shot! What did you do while they were on the cruise?

The reason I bring in food for the kids is because their kid meals and snack mostly suck, especially at MK. I'm in no way a health nut but when most options for my kids are suger loaded Smucker's, deep fried chicken nuggets or heavily artificial Mac and cheese, then no thank you! I rather bring them their fresh (not out of packagr) vegetables and fruits and a nice non pb&j sandwich.

Yep, same here. DS is a little picky, but he doesn't like typical kid fare (pizza, mac and cheese, etc) and the kids meals all seem to offer the same options, none of which I really care for. I usually bring in a bunch of snacks to get us through the day (fresh fruit, veggies, yogurt, crackers, etc) and we skip lunch altogether. I would be annoyed if Disney stopped allowing us to bring in those things since they don't offer anything comparable in the parks.

Someone said (wish I could link it, but I don't remember where or when I read it) that they could often get one show off pretty well but they were having the most trouble with the second showing. It had something to do with the gps involved, I think.

Revamping the entire show to be Disney characters from Lion King, Brother Bear, Zootopia and Dinosaur...wasn't deemed Disney enough.
