Well people at the top also don't judge or make assumptions either. But thanks for the life lessons. If you'd like to give a lesson explain how you don't pay a no show fee? We usually make reservations...180 days out...because we want to actually eat there and enjoy our time. I was merely saying i was trying to finalize my park days with my ADR's, not that I couldn't be flexible. Look at my other posts throughout this thread...each time I said we were going to enjoy ourselves no matter what. However, like everyone else, we are curious and considering our trip is 11 days away now I'm not sure who wouldn't be. This thread has been amazing but someone always has to jump all over someone when they don't agree...so sad

Don't worry, Disney creates the necessity to plan. I've said once in this thread, for a smooth trip you really have to plan in order to "go with the flow"! As in, you have to have an idea of what to expect, what your different options are, what is going on at different times.

Unless you're local and it's not a big deal to just catch whatever is available at the moment and miss other things, because then you'll be back another time soon to catch it.

I can do them tomorrow night, too, so yes, I'll be up til midnight. I'm a night owl and I'm on Spring Break (teacher here) so I'm up til midnight most nights the next week! We will have to look for one another!

@mocame sorry to hear about your roof, but glad you had so many caring friends and neighbours to help you out.

Can't help but agree that something like that puts the RoL frustraion / anticipation on the back-burner ... I had one of those days yesterday too.

A small car blew through a red light and t-boned our Suburban ... spun us 180o through a typically busy intersection. Thankfully, we all walked away without a scratch, just badly shaken up. There must have been angels looking out for all of us. The car is a write-off for sure, not sure about our SUV yet.

Wow! I'm so so glad everyone is okay! That is one of my greatest fears... other drivers are so out of our control! Absolutely terrifying.

This is so crazy because this happened to me about a week ago. Except he was in a huge truck and I was in a SUV and I spun and flipped! They pulled me out a window but other than about 4 bruises and a few days of soreness, I'm totally fine.

I wonder how this will work with the parks that have FP tiering.

Not having to choose 3 if you don't want to is a plus, but if say, I choose just 1 and it's Tier 1, then use it and go for another, can that second one be another Tier 1 (assuming, of course, that there are any available).

it was a young guy that hit us, not even fully licensed (G2 for those in Ontario that know the system). Really not sure what caused him to miss the red, but based on the lack of skid marks and the fact that his light was still red when we stopped spinning, he wasn't paying attention. The intersection is near my workplace, so I'm sure I'll be jittery at that intersection for a while. (I don't drive, so getting back behind the wheel isn't an issue. My dad was back on the road today.)

I would expect it to work just like the current system does.
Once you use your tier 1, and other tier 2 (or they expire) you can get additional tier 1, if there are any

Yes, I wonder that, too. I've read that currently, you can book the 3, then cancel the two Tier 2 if you want and then after using the Tier 1, try to book another Tier 1. So it may not be an issue to just book the Tier 1 initially, then try for more Tier 1's after you have used the first. Time will tell though, right?

On the topic about being able to make your 4th from your phone now, I am guessing this will for for phantom MB's also after 3 SDFP are made and used as well, or maybe no since they aren't linked to a ticket....

Oh good - you're back - I'm not sure if we could remember who first came up with "Rumors of Light" (or at least I couldn't!) - hope you are okay that we appropriated the name and will all be running all over AK with buttons and t-shirts! @HopperFan's DS designed it!

I've been in and out! I am more than okay with it - I love it! I'm gonna have to grab one. I hope I see some of them when I'm at AK on 4/22.
