I don't know how they do it, but occasionally I will get someone who is absolutely clueless. Shockingly clueless, and that is especially bad when booking special events. At that point, I have to make a judgment call...Sometimes after waiting a very long time on hold. Do I carefully/nicely walk them through what I'm trying to reserve, or do I opt to call back later because I just heard my doorbell ring?

I had the same problem when booking the Halloween Dessert Party. I called at 7 A.M. the morning it was released and was transferred to 4 different cast members. The last girl read me the description of the "Hocus Pocus" show. Finally, I had found it online when she was reading the description and I said, "yep, I'll call back later."

They just announced the date about 10 days ago
I find it extremely hard to belive that something has gone so wrong in such a short time period
I think some CM are seeing the announcement that the dining packages on preview party booking date is postponed and interpreting it that the entire thing is postponed

Of course anything is possible I just think it's unlikely they would announce the debut on March 2nd of they weren't certain of it. If it was that far from completion they had to have known last week

I've found bugs during final release testing. That's why we do it - there's no point in testing if you're not prepared for the possibility of finding a problem.

If everything was absolutely ready, they'd be starting the show this weekend. They're not going to let all that work sit idle for a month. But that's not the way businesses work. They're always going to announce things before the last minute work and testing is complete, and there's always a possibility of some last minute problem found after the announcement forcing a delay. And they're not going to withdraw the published date until the technical workers have convinced management that working 80 hour weeks won't fix things by the originally scheduled date.

Just called about something else and asked about ROL since I haven't harassed Disney about it today... she said "tomorrow" but that's it?

Lol poor Maggie! To her credit she didn't sound stressed that she seemed to have no idea what was going on, just blissfully ignorant.

I'm convinced at this point that everything will be released while I'm in labor.

honestly, I would be more upset if they were released and I slept past it and missed out compared to how irritated I'll be if I got up for nothing again. Regret is worse than a bit of sleep depravity.

I'm well aware of how roll outs work. And how corporations decide on schedule and release dates
Things have to be very close to give the public a firm date
and I still belive they would not say in their post today it opens 4/22 if they informed personnel that it was postponed yesterday
They would have not used a date at all

I've been setting the alarm for 5:30 but I think tomorrow I'm going to make it 6 too. Badly strained/pulled muscles in my neck/shoulders isn't making getting up any easier. Stiffens up over night.
