It is going to be so awesome ! I can't wait to book the dinner package. I thought it would be similar to illuminations but I think it is going to be way better !

Disney site says no dining plans accepted. Do you think that will change?

My guess would be yes, but it is just that... a total guess. I'm certainly hoping it is, for whatever that is worth.

I'll just have to have my fingers crossed for some soft openings/dress rehearsals!

Our last day in the parks is on the 16th. And it'll be a year and a half before we make it back again.

I'm in the same River of Lightless boat - departing April 22nd and I'm more depressed that I thought I would be about it! My guess is that it will be at least two years before we are back....argh!

One of the CMs I talked to said she could see a preview for the ROL on April 19th but she didn't know what that meant so keep your eyes open for the possibility...

Here's hoping they release info on times, park hours, and tiffins here soon. I'd like to book a night safari and night everest FP and have dinner at Tiffins before the show. The planner in me hates not having information!

I see DDP is not accepted at Tiffins (as of now) but will it be accepted with the Tusker House and Flame Tree packages you think? Similar to Fantasmic?

Don't think anyone said it was a super secret. Just that people who do not follow Disney minute by minute are not going to find out about this right away. It's not all over my FB, granted, I only have 700 friends - but not a single one has mentioned it. And no one has posted anything to the AKL group that I belong to about it either ... And those are AK lovers who own AKL DVC.

I hadn't heard about a package at Flame Tree. How would that work with a QS?
I currently have Tusker House booked on May 29th. Would love to convert that to a ROL dining package. Or maybe pay OOP for Tiffins. Decisions, decisions...

Tiffins looks great! Can't wait to read a menu. It's a place we'll definitely consider eating.

And now with our weekend trip coming up, I may have to cut Illuminations to see River's of Light. I'm not sure I want to wait another 7 months before seeing it.

I cannot tell you how excited this makes me! I had already planned the 22nd as our AK day because it seemed fitting. Now it's the day that ROL opens. I'm pretty sure Disney did this JUST. FOR. ME! They just wanted to sprinkle a little magic dust on our first visit, ever.

Now I just have to stalk the dining package/FP+ options and hope that one or the other comes up in time to "guarantee" our family "the best viewing".

I currently have 2 nights scheduled for AL would it be greedy to book a ROL dining package for each night? Something tells me it will be worth seeing twice

I know that it has been discussed that TH is most likely going to be DDP accepted, we just aren't sure yet if it will be 1 or 2 credits, but as far as the Flame Tree dining package does anyone know if it will be accepted with DDP as a QS credit much like BOG is for breakfast and lunch, or is it likely to be excluded as a QS credit?

It is being discussed on multiple Disney related FB pages, including one with 91,000 members. Not that it even really matters to me, but if I'm going to get questioned on why I thought it was kinda funny, I'm going to answer why it amused me. No biggie. The DPB is on fire with announcements today, so I'm sure a dining package start date will be released soon.

From what I've read, it will not be QS credit eligible.
