When I check in July, can see hours and times for every park except Animal Kingdom. Maybe they're getting ready to roll out new hours?

On the MDE app (android) all AK hours are the same as they have been (5-6pm closing times).

It's fine. It means 3 day weekends every week (I work four 10s) and helps me be up early for things like ADR watches and was super handy when tickets went on sale for Star Wars.

An official DPB response was just posted in the comments of the ROL story. This sort of sounds like it could be like the the 7DMT FP+ rollout, as HopperFan commented in another thread.

"FastPass+ is planned to be available for Rivers of Light. Guests may be able to make their plans through My Disney Experience soon."

I just checked the app for TH for one of my nights in August and it showed hours until 10pm couldn't book it. Hopefully everything will be ready to roll at 6am tomorrow

Another west coaster here. That works out so well that you need to be up for work. I always get up and then try to go back to bed...but I can never fall back asleep and then am tired all day. Debating on if I want to get up at 3 am tomorrow!

I currently have 2 nights scheduled for AL would it be greedy to book a ROL dining package for each night? Something tells me it will be worth seeing twice

We've left two nights open in our plans for RoL. Right now, I am super glad we did that.

However, if Disney rains goodness from the heavens and the new Star Wars nighttime spectacular happens to start in May, there may be a fight over which show we do more than once...

When are they going to update the hours at AK for the summer. We are going in August and it still shows AK closing at 5pm. They know that's not going to be the closing time, why not change the hours?

If it's like F!, the dining package will offer better seats than the FP area. But won't know if this holds true for ROL until the first night.

I've seen posts that say all meals, just lunch and dinner and dinner only. So it's really anybody's guess at this point. I am hoping for breakfast, as that what we prefer....but I'm worried it won't be included.

That was horrible. We got those bad seats for our first F! package. I am glad that they changed it. WOC, though, had great seats/spots, at least for Carhay Circle dining. It was well worth it there. I don't think it's really worth it for us at F! anymore.
