Hey, maybe it's not drink related, or maybe it is, but does anyone else remember "flash" Mountain?Lots of family photo ruined by some intentional "wardrobe malfunctions"!

So I was reading about the new welcome show at Magic Kingdom. I can't imagine not having it with the railroad. At what point do they let you in the park to go to the castle stage To see the show. Does that mess up peoples pre-park ADRs to get their pictures on main street?

The "hopping" at MK...gosh that sounds like an awful amount of work just for a few drinks. One, I don't need it that bad but two, if I did, like someone else mentioned, there's 3 resorts WITH bars a monorail ride away. I guess it's the challenge to some of these folks.

They let most guests in around 8 (maybe a tad earlier...was later with EMH last week). They let PPOs in about 5-10 minutes before regular guests.

I'm going to miss the old welcome show too, @dachsie, although it will be fun to have some extra time in Main Street. I'm hoping they add more to the show. It doesn't sound like the PPO ADR have much of a head start- maybe 10 minutes? There's some first hand reports in the New Main St. Procedure thread...

Apparently now, the photos never make it to the end of the ride, according to Snopes, but folks who were riding in the same log and had this happen can talk to a CM, and (again according to Snopes) and be escorted to the front of the line for another ride. You can google it, and it looks some sites may still have some of the photos, but most are now only posted on sites with questionable security and I wouldn't go there.

Some of the other "staged" photos are pretty funny though...reading newspapers, Men in Black, playing Monopoly...

What about the folks who juggle a handful of MDE's all full of ADRs for all the parks every day so they have what they want until the very last minute, or the folks booking and paying for rooms/campsites just for free MagicBands and 60 day FastPass, or those that book rooms for all the perks then cancel altogether after their MagicBands arrive (stealing I think that is) ............. folks will go to a lot of trouble and work for something that most of us think is a waste of energy. I suppose in a way it's a new challenge like trying to do all the rides in one 24 hour day, or drinking around the world or something.

If ROL ever opens and it's better than predicted ........ and with 2 shows (10,000) or 3 shows (15,000) only, it's predicted to shut out half to two thirds of potential guests ..... more when they add Dining Packages ............ I am sure there will be plenty trying to figure out a way in ....... lots of bushes to hide in.

I'm sad because I never got to see the old one. But I am excited to be on Main Street early.

Well, after months of hoping ROL would be ready for our October 2016 trip, that trip came and went without ROL. I booked a Disney Cruise for October 2017 with 2 nights at WDW, what are the odds that ROL will be ready by then? I'm thinking MNSSHP or one day at AK, if Pandora and ROL are running.

I think there is a good shot that all or parts Pandora are up and running. Probably ROL, too, but honestly, I don't even want to speculate on it anymore. I'm assuming it will debut eventually (though maybe I shouldn't assume that) and when it does, great. Certainly not trying to be a downer but I might be speculated out at this point...lol.

Everything in Pandora should be running by then. They are already into test and adjust with the rides. The only concern right now is motion sickness with flight of passage.

Rivers of light is said to be open before spring break crowds come in. I would think at the very least it opens with Pandora.

I'll probably get yelled at for getting your hopes up but it's been said we should hear soon about the future of RoL. They apparently are entering a very important stage next week in the process of getting this finally up and running. We do know they were filming some promotional material for the show.

KIDDING! Started to seem like RoL might all have been a trick... a myth... a bad dream... SOMETHING... But as I near my 180-day mark for an Aug trip I'm back on here checking... glutton for punishment??
