We were chosen because of my Disney planning OCD. I was so worried that we would be stuck in a long line to purchase the water park tickets, that I insisted we take a cab to the park. We arrived very early (cast members were still arriving for the opening shift). My husband was not happy with me; he actually refused to wait by the gate with us. At the end of the day, he was happy the way things turned out.

lol! I bet he was happy when he was relaxing in the Captain's Hut! Pays to be early!

Me three I feel kind of defeated as well. I had such a lovely Friday planned.

I keep looking at my itinerary and at MDE to see what's available and then I get depressed and stop.

Ok, I've added Sanaa. I just had to after reading what people were saying and after looking at menu! Now, who's had lunch at Liberty tree? Should I keep it or cancel it. I have liberty tree lunch booked on same day I booked Sanaa for dinner.

We had early AM reservations Friday 4/15 at EP and Saturday the 16th at MK - soooooo glad I'd already decided against them. I can't believe it's almost time for our trip and the powers that be are still changing up the times on everyone!

Not a bad idea - DH and I tried to get in there on our last date night but it was fairly new and the wait was too long - we had a pineapple drink on the porch part...

I'm really bummed - so is DH. Just told him about the preview party cancelations and he said "Didn't see that coming." I had a feeling packages would be delayed, but I really figured if the show was ready to go for 4/22 as scheduled, that there would be preview parties the week before...

Back to pitching a tent plan.

I would suggest emailing them and asking them how they are going to help fix this. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I have twice sent emails and both times received a phone call to discuss my concerns.

To be honest, I wouldn't change anything. If it were night hours, I might consider it, but not for morning ones.

I have a similar question: I have a day split between MK and AK, and right now have LTT planned for lunch before hopping to AK. I'm considering ditching LTT and having lunch at Sanaa instead before we head to AK. Both are new to us. Anyone have any thoughts on which you would choose? We are generally not adventurous eaters, but I wouldn't call us picky, either.

I will - that's a good idea. I need to sleep on it to get my thoughts in order, so it will need to be tomorrow...

Aw, thanks, I appreciate it - thankfully it is only vacation stress! I think with Disney it's exacerbated because it's so expensive! I keep saying, once we're there, it will be good!

I might email them just out of principle. Too much relies on pre-planning things now that I don't think it's great changing the EMH around this soon to the trip. And yes, I do know that not everything has to be planned out and I'll still have a good time, but I was relying on those EMH.

IMO there is simply no comparison between them. Sanaa is far superior! Plus you might get a window seat and even if you don't, you can spend time out at the Savannah ... And AK is a very short trip on the bus

Sanaa !!! Love the setting, atmosphere, and the food !!! So relaxing !! And the service can't be beat ---!
We had our best server ever there! His name was Hermeit (sp?)
He was amazing ! We started asking for him everytime we went back !!

I feel bad for all of you who have trips coming up soon ... Disney created the 180/60/30 planning frenzy and now clearly can't (or doesn't care, so won't) keep up their end of the bargain.

Seriously, I found the time I spent sitting under an umbrella next to the pool bar last trip more enjoyable than a lot of the items on the itinerary. That's not a bad plan at all.

Hello Disney family!! Just wanted you all to know I back on watch. Working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shift. As usual I will report anything I see. Just hoping I do not come across anything like I did Tuesday am when I first saw the early magic hours Thing lol!!! My planning self just can not take another blow!!!
