Rumors of Light (ROL discussion thread)

Has anyone ever seen that retelling of Frozen that they play(ed - don't know if its still ongoing) at DL? Oh my dear Lord THAT was awesome! I was laughing so hard I almost fell off the bench

During the Sing along at DCA there was a dad sitting next to me with his young daughter. He had no idea what he was getting into and felt really embarrassed when his young daughter (she must have been around 4 or 5) started belting all the songs in all ernesty. Told him it was a sing along but he still found it rather embarassing

I called now just for you got Maggie's twin sister. She said what's that. Rivers of what????????????????? She said to call resort reservations for dining packages:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I had a CM transfer me to Resort Reservations when I called about 2 weeks ago. I felt so sorry for the poor fellow who got me. Of course, he had no idea what I was talking about but was terrific about trying to find out. Bonus points for him!! That must be their "default" on ROL?

Trying to decide whether we want to keep our San Angel Inn ressie or go to the food stations at Epcot Flower and Garden. Any thoughts on what the food is like at either?
We were there during F&W and ate at San Angel Inn. It was the worst table service meal we had. I was disappointed because I remember wanting to eat there as a kid. The ambience is cool but the food is not good. The kiosks we tried were much better than San Angel.

I did it! Rebooked our entire trip for one week later!! :cool1: Now, instead of going May 12 we leave May 19th. Changed the flights (love Southwest!), was able to get most of the same FP, and even the Keys to the Kingdom tour!! Unfortunately couldn't get Victoria and Alberts  or California Grill, but we did get Le Cellier. I also booked Chefs de France, and almost had myself convinced that we could have a great dinner there and save $500, but now y'all have me second guessing that--any other recommendations for a fancy grown-up meal?

Still trying to decide which resort to change to. Coronado Springs has some great rates, but don't know if business class is worth $200 more than water view. Tempted by Boardwalk for easy walking to Epcot, but it costs almost twice as much!

Now, there is just one more thing I need to book. What was it now...? Oh yeah, ROL please!! I am counting on Tiffins being open, with or without a ROL dining package. We have a reservation at Yak and Yeti, but there's just something off-putting about dining in a restaurant with "Yak" in the name.

Back to waiting I am. :yoda:

Monsieur Paul is a great place for a grown-up meal! Outstanding food!

When we were at the show, there were two young ladies - maybe 20's? - and they were so into it - singly loudly, etc. It kinda made me weepy, but I'm sappy like that!
For about a year or so after the movie came out, and sometimes still just for tradition, every single time my best friend and I got together (so, okay, it usually involved wine or frozed margaritas) we would sing the songs quite passionately... even in somewhat public locations (such as the beach, in a cabin camping) to the embarrassment of my husband and her boyfriend... and any onlookers... :cool2:
