Rumors of Light (ROL discussion thread)

Sometimes you can't really grasp how lucky you are! I had just dropped off my then DD2 at day care, too! I got hit front and center by a guy turning into a one way street the wrong way. Broke my ankle pretty badly. I still walk on crutches. But we're going to Disney nevertheless :)

That's really scary - no place to go! Glad you can still go ahead with your trip.

When I saw the Frozen sing-along, I sat next to a grown woman dressed as Elsa, who belted out each number so loudly people about 5 rows ahead were turning around to look. She recorded herself the whole time on her phone, so I'm wondering if she's on You Tube somewhere. It was bizarre. I kind of hope she caught me on camera looking at her like she was nuts.

Oh, that was me.... princess:

It was myself, my mom, my dad, and my 3-year old. He was so impressed with the whole thing that he fell asleep on my dad's lap, so my dad took him out while my mom and I stayed. My mom COULD NOT stop giggling at this woman next to us, and I kept nudging her and telling her to be quiet. During Let it go, the woman became quite shrill and dramatic and I thought my mom was going to fall off her chair she was laughing so hard.

My son dresses as Olaf and belts out all the songs. He's a fantastic singer, but I always feel bad for the people in front of us. I tell him to take it down a notch. But he gets so into it.

But that's adorable because he's a kid. This woman was, I'd guess in her mid 40's.

At least...I assume your son is a kid. And not a grown man dressed as Olaf and singing along during the show. In which case, you have my sympathy.

The most "interesting" guest I ever saw was Linda Skywalker during SWW and yes that's her legal name

I need to see this singalong! In 4 trips in the last 2 years I still haven't seen it.... I'll have to get on it this time :) My fiance wants to see Indiana Jones so that will be my payback.

And I will be sure to sing every word.
You really do. You don't have to be a Frozen fan to enjoy the show. The Arendale Historian's steal the show for sure.

I'm sure she's still AP. I've never seen her outside of SWW at a park though.
:( I miss SWW last time we went it was 2013 and we made it for the last day. Drove down in a tropical storm to make it. Camped out all night in front of DHS and everybody was so nice. Come to think of it each time we went it was always a very friendly crowd. bring back SWW. now back to our regularly scheduled waiting
