OK, let the overplanning begin!
I'm hoping to go to the preview on the 17th, if they have it. I was just able to grab a 6pm Tusker House on that day. I think that will work out OK, timewise.

This is one of the very few times I'll probably make a late lunch ressie, too, and cancel it if the AKL thing works out.

well, there are a lot of changes happening everywhere in the parks that the guest doesn't see...that's why I always say be kind to the CM you encounter

I always am! Most of them go way above and beyond and that's why we keep going back. With all the cuts we may wind up spending time over at the darkside.

Just to clarify to anyone looking at the two parties - It looks like you get a FP for nighttime safari for the 4/15, but not the 4/16 - is the nighttime safari still running on the second date/party do we think?

the Safari does show as open on the regular preview event, I would think that it's just not with a specific time stamp so you just have to wait with everyone else that decides to go

Hey - just had a thought... if there are no bookable preview parties, and the Aprils all had t-shirts and were wandering around AK, maybe we would be noticeable and the CMs would ask us if we wanted to "follow them" to a soft opening??

nah...my ex husband was the one working for the mouse but they cut his hours so much he had to leave and get a new job.

I hate hearing about this kind of thing. Hope he finds something better.

The preview event on the 17th doesn't show yet on the calendar but it'll be the same as April 16th

Have you heard (outside of The Dibb) that there WILL be an event on Apr 17th? That's the one I'd hope for... after the Dark Side half...

This is killing me! I was really hoping that they would do a preview on the 17th. I'm doing the 10K on Saturday morning and the half marathon on Sunday. I guess the Friday night event will be the better option for my schedule, but with only 4000 tickets its going to be harder to get.

I feel your pain ( and his) --- same thing happened to me years ago when I worked at TDS here in NYC -- Disney is known for doing that !!

thank you, he already has, he just enjoyed working at Disney because he loved helping the guest, obviously not for the money
