Just wondering if US is likely to do a Disney & bring the date right into early September?We already have the last weekend in Sept ear marked but looking at BG their HoS is going to be on the same nights & could mean having to do them back to back

That's true...you never know but I seriously doubt Universal would ever extend HHN to early September...that's too early for Halloween plus another month for the extra casting of the scareactors and moving all the props four nights a week wouldn't make sense. I was surprised HHN was extended past Halloween night last year which I don't remember them doing in past years. Universal rarely releases their hours a year in advance so the fact the hours aren't posted yet is nothing new.but you do *never* know. maybe the fact that the park hours for Sept. have yet to be released could mean they're planing a lil sumin sumin??? Just speculation on my part. And a lil wishful thinking!
however, IMO; they are cutting themselves out of alot of potential guests (that contingent who bows to the way of the mouse & needs to allocate/schedule early) who will start buying their MNSSHP tix on May1st...having their $s committed already. i'd announce the dates ASAP to be competivite
Disney likes to take the "parties" and make them longer every year...as you said. Isn't this the 2nd year of YOMD?tell that to Disney, MNSSHP longer every year = more $s.

Disney have brought MNSSHP forward to 9/5!! I've been planning our trip around the most likely dates but BG has really thrown a spanner in the works! I checked last years dates & they had started the first party on a Thurs night so had wrongly assumed (yes I know makes an *** out of U & me !
) that that might be the case this year BUT looking at their park hours for Sept both 9/26 & 9/27 Park closing is 5PM.On our last trip we done both parties back to back but were done in by the end of HHN!

HHN goes after a different crowd obviously and everyone pretty much knows when it's going to happen. The dates will be released by mid-June so it's about a month or so lag from Disney.
Plus...you have us to answer your questions in the meantime.
. I specifically bought U APs in lieu of WDW ones to work HHN in this year. Everybody's got a budget, darn it
I've found that it's very economical to do the party events @ WDW & throw in a HHN or 2; best of both worlds. ; don't expect it though.

Nothing wrong about planning.I'm addicted to this Disboard for the simple fact of there's more Disers out there that know more then me.So our next vac.is more fullfilling.Been alot still don't know alot.
