Rumors HHN 2008?

I am so happy they have a Wednesday the last week - I hate weekends there:)

I thought the BEST part of PsychoScarapy was walking through the poop-smeared bathrooms, and actually smelling the poop:rotfl: And the urine soaked mattress room was equally as appalling:scared1:
One of my favorites also....Can't wait to see what this year has in store!!!!!!!
Yeah...that was the year before...I liked last year better. :rolleyes1

Does anyone have an incling as to what might be included this year?

I read on a forum somewhere that Freddy was definitely going to make an appearance again?!

That's a fairly well guarded secret...at least for now or until HHNVault or IOACentral gets wind of it. Universal had a survey earlier this year and a lot of us filled it out. There are plenty of possibilities but not knowing is part of the fun.

Sorry if I said something I shouldn't have! I just read it on another forum somewhere earlier today

No no...I didn't mean you. Universal keeps that information secret...or as secret as they can get. Anything you see online now is purely speculation.

You didn't say anything wrong.

I always love the Psychoscareapy houses!

My favortire house from last year as well. I'll always remember seeing the rocking horse with a human head on it. Also the girl sitting on Santa's lower half in the chair.

I thought a nice touch was the hot chocolate smell when you walked through the kitchen. Also, you went into several neighborhood houses...that was cool.

Has there ever been anything Halloween/Michael Myers inspired at a HHN?

Not that I can remember...would be a good idea though. I imagine it's all about licensing in order to get famous horror icons for HHN.

No. You shouldn't listen to the silly rumors going around at the moment. The reliable ones don't start circulating until later.

:lmao: most peeps prefer reliable rumours:thumbsup2

Just any FYI...Screamscape has the tenative dates for HHN this year.

http://www.screamscape.com/html/universal_orlando.htm

Scroll down a bit and it's there.

thanx todd - i'm off to scroll...hoping for good news as to the Wednesday:wizard: if not, off to go stand in the corner & eat worms;)

:woohoo:

did you see the bit re survey for ideas for HHN?

my nightmare...

going to use my credit card while on vacation & it's locked down due to identity theft:rolleyes1 had it happen twice while visiting MCO/DCL since late '05:confused3

what's in your nightmare?

There has never been a house based on Halloween, but I am remembering a couple of appearances by Michael Meyers. One was, wow, maybe 1999? It was one of the first 3D houses, a movie theater where the slashers came out of the movie to kill us all. There was a hall with several wax figures, and the Michael Meyers one would come to life with his nasty knife.

The really great one was at the original All Night DrIvE-In (the year of the Director - I really have a thing for the Director...):rolleyes1 . After you stepped through the movie screen, the first "cut" was in the Meyers household, and 4 or 5 Michael's came out at you, one after the other, from the sofa, to the TV, to the refrigerator, out the door, through the hanging laundry - following you all the way over to Camp Crystal Lake and Jason Voorhies!!

Great house!!!!:scared1:

There was a house one year that had a lot of Michael Myers in it. Was it All Nite Die In, 2003?

I remember that house because it was the only house where someone actually scared my oldest son, 16 at the time.

we love HHN - we went in 07 and planned our 08 trip during the time frame for HHN --- anyone who is familiar with HHN knows when it starts so Uni doesnt necessarily have to put the dates out early --- also a tic to HHN is a lot more expensive then a tic to MNSSHP -- last year we just went on sunday but this year we are doing both saturday (10/4) and sunday (10/5) - also just like MNSSHP this is a limited ticketed event - we stayed at HRH last year and they told us that HHN sells out completely and sometimes only hotel guests can get admission the day of the event.

just a note to anyone who hasnt been --- they close US at 5 and then they set up and reopen around 7. the thing is people begin lining up for this at appx 5 when US is closing - the fan base is absolutely insane - but we only were able to catch 3 of the haunted houses because of the lines (which is why we are doing 2 nights this year and might splurge for the express pass - which kills me because i am staying on property) but the ones we did were awesome (we hit the basics jason and freddy and then did dead silence)

Thanks for the info.! We scheduled our trip in October specifically to go to HHN, too, and it will be our first HHN night.

Now, I know as AP holders we get discounts on the HHN tickets. Do we get discounts on the Express Pass for HHN? Thanks~!! :) :)

no discounts on the express passes
discounts on the hhn tickets though.

if you are only going for one night, do the rip tour.
you only need the tour cost and entrance ticket for hhn for the night.
no express ticket needs to be purchased.

if if you work the numbers, you can see the advantage and disadvantage of going on a peak/non peak night with a tour.

Macraven, could you tell me more about the RIP tour (as I understand you are the expert on this matter)

Do you get much say in what you do and in which order? or is there a rigid structure?

What time does the tour start and finish?
