Rumored Black Friday VGF2 Sales

Due to the potential shortage of hard and soft retail goods this Christmas, there is a rumor that Disney is going to take advantage by starting VGF2 sales on Black Friday with crazy good incentives. I heard that the special incentives are only going to be offered for one day!!! After that it will probably be back to regular pricing with typical incentives.

Who's going to be with me logging on at midnight?!!

you're making it sound like VGF2 will have 50 years from the start of sales? is that the case or is it no different that existing VGF owners expiring 2064? or does VGF1 owners not have 11 month advantage on these VGF2 rooms? I'm kinda confused, so drop some knowledge for me, please

I didn’t think of it before, but someone mentioned that logging on at midnight may be too late. Internet traffic is going to be heavy around that time, and the DVC site may not have sufficient bandwidth to handle it…

It would be prudent to log on earlier and “walk” the sale to make sure to get in on it.

With over 2 million points to sell, you will have plenty of time. Incentives usually are around for at least a month or two.

I know the OP is being facetious, but they did have a "cyber sale" last year that gave extra incentives starting a week before Turkey Day and ending a week after... So a "Black Friday sale" is not inconceivable, but would not be for a day only.

I heard that starting at 6 AM on the day of the sale you can buy Lightning Lane access to the DVC kiosk, so no need for a tent and propane! But I think only guests staying in Grand Villas are eligible - others have to wait until the kiosk opens.

Yeah, I don't think you can get there the day before. But you can go at rope drop! Just head straight to the Kiosk. Don't forget to dress appropriately if you're going to be in line for a while (I recommend purchasing those astronaut diapers)
