Rumor: Huge FastPass Change (Both Parks Linked Starting April 6)

We never park hop at WDW but always buy hoppers at DLR. We don't hop a lot but always need to a few times over a week, so just go with the hoppers. We stay onsite so always start with the early entry park. Sometimes we park hop after just that first hour or so.

We also end up hopping at some point to help us see all the shows, parades and fireworks. It's hard to hit it all without hoppers.

Exactly. And that won't change just because the FP machines are now connected. There are still many other viable reasons for those who like to park hop.

So glad I held off buying passes for our upcoming May trip. I was only considering Hoppers for this very reason. Now that I know the parks are linked,
I can save quite a bit by not paying extra for the Hoppers. I'll also save a lot of time and energy running back and forth since I'm the designated runner.
