My list is almost identical to yours. And we feel the same way about parades, fireworks, and characters.
People keep saying this about icemakers and refillable mugs but I don't see why they would need to be deactivated. The ice goes in a disposable plastic sleeve, and the cups are your own and the ice and liquid fall into it. Chance of cross contamination is remote unless someone is licking the nozzle. Now coffee machines they just can't clean very easily but even with those it's low risk, especially with the single use variety.
Lets say someone carries their mug around in the parks all day then refills it on their way back to their room at the end of the day. They've been touching it and handling it since they got up. They place the mug down to fill it up, and whatevers on the cup comes in contact with the machine itself. Next person comes along and fills there, then handles it as anyone would and brings it back to their room. That's a point of potential cross contamination.
Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 sec as often as possible, the virus doesn't move on its own, so you can have covid on your hands but as long as you don't touch your face you're alright.
The recommendations were to eliminate all self serve, but I don’t know that Disney is required to follow those to the letter. I suspect they will though. I don’t think they’ll do away with refillables, but I do think they’ll move it behind the counters and give you paper cups to pour back into your mug. Don’t rule out licking the nozzle, on cruises at least, can’t tell you the number of times I’ve seen grown adults stick their faces under the ice cream dispenser and fill their mouths with ice cream. There’s no limit as to how gross people can be.
Let's say virus is on the bottom of the cup and remains on the plastic of the machine. And then it transfers to the bottom of someone else's cup. It's still not inside the machine itself or inside your cup. There is no difference between that and putting your cup down anywhere someone else might put their cup down. Hand sanitizer should be by the machine as it should be everywhere.

I think there is way more exposure involving staff passing drinks back and forth to people. That recommendation was not well thought out (a lot of times they forget that the options are not risk vs no risk but risk vs other risk) and I expect it to change. As for the ice cream, that is truly disgusting and if I were running the show those people would be hurled overboard. ;-)
In the times I’ve seen it, it’s always resulted in a stoppage of service and a cleaning on the machines. If I didn’t get to a CM to report it, someone else did. I see no issue with CMs serving behind the counter. They’re going to handing out food anyway. As I said, it can’t be a sterile environment.

How on earth do they enforce that? They don’t know what you do away from work, just using the honor system?
Back at the start of this, my hospital instituted something similar, and you had to report your trip to employee health prior to the trip. So yes, honor system but not worth losing your job over by lying about it imo. Ironically it is now no longer in place for us because being at work IS the dangerous exposure, not being on a trip.
... yes? I agree? Nowhere in my comment says anything against that. You're not likely to wash your cup as thoroughly or frequently as your hands though, especially if its a high touch area (many people filling their own cups up in one area). The virus doesnt move on its own, but it does if you move it (like placing a cup somewhere, for example)
