Rules for Booking Onboard

Is the Onboard Booking still $200 deposit per room? Also, is the discount 10% off or 20%? Thank you!

No, the placeholder deposit is now $250 per room. Not sure which discount you're asking about, but there is a 10% discount of the cruise fare with an onboard booking, as well as a 10% deposit if the future cruise you book is 7 nights or longer.

So my Inlaws are hopefully going in May 2017 on a DCL cruise and I want them to book me a placeholder (but I want a 7 night - so it's a 10% deposit with a 10% discount?) So the rules still apply, if they book 2 placeholders for their 1 stateroom, we both have to agree on the same future cruise to get the 10% discount? What happens if they don't want to do an OBB for themselves, can they still do one for me?

I believe, for the onboard booking perks to apply, at least one person on the reservation(s) must be on the current cruise (the one the reservation is made on). As in, if you have two rooms, at least one of the people on those two reservations must be on the current cruise. But, I'm not real sure about that.

But, yes, both rooms need to be on the same future cruise for both reservations to get the OBB perks, if they book two rooms.
