Rubber rings allowed in Disney pools?

We are staying over at Cabana Bay at Universal for our first week then moving to Pop Century.

In the grounds of Cabana Bay they have a lazy river and you buy large rubber rings and they blow them up for you (similar to the type you use at the Disney water parks for the lazy river) .

We are travelling to Pop Century by taxi and wondered if we could leave our rubber rings fully inflated to use at the pool in Disney (they are a pain to deflate anyway) or do they stop you using such things?

No, you can't use them in Wdw resorts sorry

Thanks - its 4 years ago since we stayed in a WDW hotel now and I knew that was the case back then. Still, if we delate the flotation devices then at least we will have room for ourselves in the taxi along with all our luggage - we are from the UK and staying for 17 nights altogether - I pack everything bar the kitchen sink!

I know that this question is old too but although we have been to Pop twice, Art of Animation wasn't open then. Are there any pool sharing arrangements between the two resorts as there is at All Stars (I guess no but thought I'd ask anyway)

No. No pool sharing between the two. They're not the same resort.

Sorry, but no. Disney does not consider Pop and AoA to be sister resorts. The pool at AoA is gated and magic bands indicating a current reservation at that resort are required for entry.
