I'm planning a visit for either 07/21 or 07/22/12. Any suggestion on which day? I read that Saturdays are a little bit less crowded than Sundays.:crowded:

The main purpose of the trip is to experience CL and buy the new 'glow' ears for WOC.

We are staying offsite this time and the DCA opens @8am.
Should we
1. go directly to ride the RSR and get the WOC FP then, or
2. get WOC FP then get RSR FP, or
3. get WOC FP then ride RSR?

Is it possible for one of us to wait in line to get the RSR FP while the other person run to get the WOC FP and run back in time :moped: to give the park tickets to get the RSP FP? Does it make sense? :confused3

any suggestions?

4. Get RSR FP, Ride RSRS, then get WoC Show Pass, it's not really a FP.

5. Ride RSR, get RSR FP, then get WoC Show Pass. This is risky because if you don't get on RSR right away, and that ride's line builds quickly you may get off and find the RSR FPs are all gone.

Yes it's possible. But there is a chance that the person waiting in the RSR FP lines will get to the front without the park tickets. It's a risk that you have to evaluate when there.

WoC FP are really not that high in demand like a couple years ago. FP for the first show should be available all morning and the second show FPs shouldn't run out until early evening and may even continue into the evening. No need to rush to get WoC FP. There is a rush to get RSR FP, though, and so I would also recommend #4 that ski posted. Maybe #1...definitely not #2 or 3.

I arrived at DCA at 7:40 am got in the FP line for RSR waited for 25 min. I really wanted to make sure we had a FP for the first show of WOC in the blue section so I headed right over. It was a ghost town at the WOC FP area. I'm sure I could of waited till later but it just made me feel better knowing I had them...lol

We had no trouble getting fastpasses to WoC on a Wednesday. We didn't even get by there until noon and we still had the 9:00 tickets.

Thank you so much for all the info & suggestions!:worship:

I think I will ride the RSR, then RSR FP, then get the WOC passes. :hyper:

Looking forward to another magical trip @DL & DCA! pixiedust:

Do they let regular guests in @8am, or 7:30am to allow people line up for RSR FP?

7:15 - 7:30. I think it depends on how quickly they clear out the EMH line.

Get in "normal" gate line at 7 as close to the EMH line as you can, make sure you pay attention because the EMH lines will change to "entrance" and you will want to hurry up and change lines before anyone else notices. This should get you up to the front and therefore one of the first in line for FP.

Where the 8am guests line up for FP before 8am... is that in a separate area? If I go at like 7:45am (because I was in the park for early entry) can I get a FP then in front of all the 8am people?

They line up EMH people in the FP line but do not distribute until 8. When they let the "commoners" into the park to line up for rope drop they have a seperate line that goes to the FP line. This line is held back until rope drop. So with your EMH you can wander DCA until 7:59 and get in the FP line before the people without EMH can.

this is awesome advice! Thanks!
