RSR Tire Change vs Paint Job

OK, one more question. Is tires better or is paint better? Having never been to tires, I would HOPE they moved the car up and down on each of the 4 sides to simulate tire changes... is this right? Is one really better than the other???

All subjective. I like tires better (yes you simulate the up and down), Dh likes paint better. Dd loves them both and can't decide.

I've noticed that when there's an odd number of cars because they dispatch from the HA queue then the odd man out goes through the paint side. It's every other car, but it ends up being about 60/40 paint to tires. I've never been in the single car that races alone and gone through tires.

Last time I rode we were the lone car in the race and got tires. I have only had paint once, I'd like to experience it again!

Yeah that smell in paint always give me pause. Hoping it isn't real pain fumes. HA HA HA

I've been on it for a one car race before. i cant remember if we won or lost, though.

Yes. Also, if you look in the mirror, after the tire "change", you'll see whitewalls (but sometimes the effect isn't working.)

My son has ridden RSR 8 times and has always gotten the paint side. I have ridden it 5 times and have gotten the paint side 2 times and the tire side 3. My son is very upset, he really wants his turn on the tire side. I guess it's just random.

yes, I love the whitewall effect Is there a similar effect for paint? Since we only got it once, I didn't think to really look in the mirror for a before/after.
