Hi all - I just found out yesterday that I will be going to a seminar that is held late March at the RPR. I'm excited because I've never been to Universal, but kind of bummed because my family won't be able to go with me (school issues, other things that just make it impossible this trip). While I'm definitely a Disney girl at heart, I'm looking forward to checking Universal and RPR out. I'm hoping you all can help me with a couple of issues:
At RPR, what should I request for my room selection? Am I right that all rooms of the same category (2 doubles for example) are the same price regardless of the view, or have I mis-read something? Because of the way this seminar is being booked, I think I need to make all my requests at the time of booking, which will be in the next couple of days, so I'd love any input.
Also, while I think it can be fun to be one my own this one time, I'm not sure that Universal will have enough for me to do for a 3 night trip by myself. Of course, I'll be in the seminar for portions of days, but will have a good bit of touring time. Should I plan to just do the Universal parks (there are 2, right?), or should I plan on something else? We're heading back to Disney in May and were just there last May, so I think I can live without the usual parks this time, but was thinking of doing DTD as I've never been there.
Sorry to be so random in my questions! Any thoughts would be appreciated very much!
