I am trying to convince my husband to try RPR instead of HRH. I would love to hear any comments others that have stayed at both or even just at RPR have.

One thing I would definetly like to know is if you can walk to IOA & City Walk from IOA. Is there a walk way to the park like there is to US from the HRH?

I would love any and all replies!

Thanks,
Lori

Royal Pacific Resort is a beautiful resort with a nice pool and a beautiful walkway that is VERY convenient to CityWalk (comes out right at Margaritaville) and also to IOA (just over the bridge at Margaritaville).

Most times we walked rather than taking the boat. The walk was relaxing and the landscaping was great.

The rooms are nice at RPR. There is really not one bad thing I can say about the entire hotel! We loved it!

We've been to RPR twice and will probably go again next summer. It is beautifully landscaped, with authentic South Seas carvings and statues all around. It is fun to be within walking distance of the excitement but at the same time seem really far away in a tropical setting. There are rooms that have great views of the rides too........that could be your compromise to satisfy everyone.

We have stayed at RPR 4 times and LOVE it. The walk to Citywalk is very pleasant with all the tropical plants and flowers along the way, but is a little longer than the walk from HRH. IMO, the RPR pool is the best of the 3 hotels. It does not have a slide, but it is larger with the best and most plentiful lounge chairs. We have spent some time at HRH and PBH pools and we really enjoy the tropical environment around the RPR pool. It is relaxing and you will feel worlds away staying there. A great feat since you can see rides at IOA from there!

The RPR staff has always been wonderful and very friendly to us during our stays. I have thought of staying at HRH just to try something different but I can never justify the extra cost because we love RPR so much. I am sure you will have a great experience at HRH, but if you want to try something different go for it! RPR is wonderful.

We have stayed at both. (RPR garden view -3 times and HRH club once). You can't go wrong with either one. We usually stay at RPR because it is a little cheaper. We will be back to RPR in 12 days!!!

I have stayed at both HRH and RPR. Although I loved the HRH, I think I prefer the RPR. It's more relaxed. It was more quiet than HRH and there were always available lounges at the pool. The walk to the parks was not bad at all. If you want to walk to the parks, stay in Tower 1.

I agree with gschmerl - we have stayed at both the HRH (once) and RPR (twice). I loved the atmosphere of RPR - very tropical and a very easy walk to Citywalk. HRH is very nice, but I doubt I will stay there again. We prefer RPR or Portofino Bay - we find them more relaxing.

I think you will be happy at RPR!
