So I haven't gotten any PMs. I hope I am not the one dropped swapper Maddi was talking about!

Marshay, when you said you PM'd countrygirl, were you talking about me? For some reason I have no new PMs in my inbox.

So I am confused....Maddi, am I picking up the un-broken stroller from Laurel now? What do I do with the broken one, the one I was supposed to have?

OK, I mispelled disneycountrygirl's name...forgot the Disney...DUH. Resent it.

Mwatson just PM'd and she isn't going to need the stroller for her trip. So happygoingagain is our last swapper.

Since this is the case, I've got to get other arrangements made for the stroller. Give me a day or two and I'll get everything set in stone for the last swapper and arrangements on what to do with it.

That leaves three swappers...Ok now I am sad....more on that later.

Hey everyone,

I just read the last 2 pages and I think there is a disconnect. My DH fixed the broken stroller with duck tape. It worked great all week. We actually ended up using both strollers (the second one for my cousin). I just read about Holly's husband (so sad), but nobody called me, so it is sitting at LS at ASMu unless DisneyCountryGirl picked it up also (which sounds like a no, since she didn't have a car). I left the duck tape with the stroller and called Holly to let her know.

The one with duck tape was left for momto3dizkidz, and the other one was left for DisneyCountryGirl. I divvied up the stuff, so there are actually some extras (including the sun-shade) with the stroller that is still at ASMu.

Maddi - I have the claim # - can SandrA pick it up? . Luis and Vanessa were working the desk when I left it. It's got a bright pink bandanna hanging from the cover.

I'm sick about this... I wish I knew that she wasn't coming, I could have made other arrangements with Maddi. I hope it works out.

I wondered why you didn't call. I left a voice message for you...or someone anyway...probably someone in Alaska wondering WTH is someone saying a change in plans and leave the stroller for Sandra at music and she will pick it up there. I figured you got the message and got the info so you didn't need to call me back on it.

It's not a biggie. I'll get hold of sandra and have her pick up the stroller under momto3dizkidz name. It's ok Laural....I should have called again just to make sure you got the message....My fault for doing a follow up call.

So, we just have to worry about the broken #5 (duct taped) and it is still at music under momto3dizkidz right? Just clarifying before I PM sandra.

Hi Maddi,

Yes, RC5 is at ASMu under Momto3dizkidz real name. claim # LG05283096 I said she was picking it up at 7pm last night. It's got the bright pink bandanna, and a bright green sign hanging from the handle with her Name, Ressie, etc.

Tell SandrA to add the extra stuff to the survival pack swap that she has going on. Maybe she can get the sun shade to DisneyCountryGirl at POP Century.

BTW, Vanessa at LS is wonderful. The first guy to look for the stroller when I went to pick it up couldn't find it, but she went right back there and came out 1 minute later with my stroller. Yay Girl Power!!!

My DD4 had a fever last night...thought it was under control today (only 99 degrees) but then it shot back up to 103 degrees this evening.

With only 3 more days to go, I'm REALLY worried she won't get better in time, or worse, the rest of us will get it, too.

ARGH!!!

At this time we are still planning to go. DD8m, DH and I are are feeling fine and hopefully with just another day or two of rest, DD4 will be better too.

If you can send prayers our way, I'd certainly appreciate it!

Is this the only stroller swap on the DIS? (I see its ending soon ). I saw this months ago and totally forgot about it! Now that we leave in 20 days I'm struggling to find a stroller that will work for us. (I didn't honestly expect to get into a swap now).

I took DD4 to the doctor's yesterday to see what they'd say about us going to Disney. She checked DD4 out and declared her fine to go!!! She recommended sanitzer, to take it slower than a regular vacation there and drink fluids but that she sees "absolutely no reason not to go".

So I'm back to packing!!

I just got a text from Disneycountrygirl. Looks like their plans have changed and they are doing the Christmas party tonight and then dropping off the stroller at Contemporary after it is over. (I assume/hope Luggage Services will be open after midnight??)

She said the stroller is working fine but the front wheel was loose so they tightened it.

The stroller 'final countdown' has begun!
