I’ve heard kid soup as a term. Guess this is what happens when the kids grow up.
And they're getting too big for the children soup.

I'm really not sure how all the concessions stands, the paved walkways, the golf carts and even Pelican Plunge truly count as "unspoiled," but okay.
Castaway Cay, like all of Disney, is an artificial construct of what people wish "unspoiled" was like, right down to ready availability of flush toilets and ice cream. In actuality, unspoiled is a lot more like the BWCA, where mosquitos are a key part of the experience, ice cream melts in your canoe, and toilets don't flush.
RCCL is assembling Coco Cay as a bit more of a luxe island resort, rather than a faux unspoiled island. And that's okay.
U don't have to tell ur kid no, just don't sail RCL, when the kid walks by Tiffany's on DCL can u say no? does the kid get every thing they want in the other shops? or the ice cream that is payed for separately? how about the cabanas, tubes, jet skis etc on cc?They aren't towering over the nature and staring my kid in the face. The unspoiled nature of CC is wonderful. A huge waterpark in the middle would be awful. My kid being bummed about not being able to go there since she can see it would be bad too. Two pronged problem.
I'm honestly not sure why this post was ever started on a DCL forum. My child does not ask for Tiffany's jewelry or jet skis and knows that cabanas are out of our price range. I have no intention of switching to RCL but those of you who seem to be such fans could perhaps switch to those forums on cruise critic instead of bringing their news here were it really doesn't belong.

if you have the time, could you take pics of the food venues, menus if there are any, and give us your opinion? i do not like grilled food, so i'm wondering if its a salad kind of day, or if i need to have a good breakfast before heading out. have a great time!!I will be there in about a week! Any of yous try the nature trail? It looks gorgeous.
