Anyone know if you can skip some of the appetizers?

I'm mildly allergic to watermelon.

Absolutely. And you probably won't even get a chance to tell them no watermelon, as we were asked twice (along w every other party we overhead while waiting) if there were any allergies right off the bat. Once by the host taking us to our table and once by our waiter.

Fighting to reserve overpriced dry bbq served in the atmosphere of my kid’s daycare is not on my to-do list.
I love good BBQ, but I can probably drive to Savannah and get BBQ in the Plant Riverfront District (some of the best we've had) for less than it would cost me to eat it with Disney's markup. I would rather drive the two hours to Savannah than the two hours to Orlando for that...

I love that you love it! For the record so does my husband - he’ll be getting the ADR and I will inevitably be going 😂
Whelp, it happened. We went yesterday for lunch and I have to eat my words because it was good! Salads were nice and fresh, meat was juicy. My favorite was the brisket and I DO NOT like brisket. Best sides were the baked beans and the potato salad - mac and cheese was sadly disappointing (desperately needed salt).

Come hungry though because even as 2 grown adults with healthy appetites we could not nearly finish everything.

Definitely taking the fam back here for lunch on our next trip!

What have been everyone's favorite sides? We are trying to decide between the slaw and the roasted veggies. (Corn, plain tots, and baked beans are definites.)

I'm worried about the timing of the meal. I have a 7:10 ADR but really want to make it to Fantasmic. I don't wanna feel super rushed to eat either. Should I cancel, or just cross my fingers they'll be willing to rush just a tiny bit?

Really glad to hear you enjoyed it after all! My one concern is there's just the two of us as well and I've heard it's still a lot of food. I'm sure they will have to wheel us back to YC.

We got tots, fried pickles, potato salad, mac and cheese. Mac and cheese was a disappointment but others were delicious - esp fried pickles and potato salad. Tots are tots 🤷‍♀️

The tots are a Must Order because we're 100% sure our toddler will eat them, lol.

I went on my recent trip (Saturday 15th) I was skeptical and wasn't even sure it was the right choice to go since I live in Texas, but oh my... it was an amazing meal. Everything tasted great, the main food, appetizers and sides. My only two complains are that the bbq sauce seems very watery and didn't really care for it, thankfully the meats didn't really need the sauce to be tasty though. I also didn't fully enjoyed the mac and cheese which was a bummer. Overall though, I would rate this a 9.5 and must return place for me :)

Going in June for lunch and am excited for it. However, I will be going with my almost 3 year old who loves everything Toy Story, so my opinion may be alittle skewed. However, $45 per adult for appetizer, multiple offerings of BBQ and dessert is not unreasonable given Disney prices. I love to BBQ at home and am not expecting world class BBQ, just need something solid. Plus I can eat a lot and then go back to the resort and take a nap with my son 😂

Really surprised that Disney can't get the mac n cheese right. Just add more cheese, it's in the name.

We have reservations for lunch in June. I've heard the food is okay. I don't ever expect gourmet from Disney (I just want a decent, filling meal), but I have a five year old who's going to be tickled pink over the Toy Story theming, and honestly that's the only reason I'm willing to shell out that much money for a BBQ restaurant when I don't even have the ability to digest red meat 😂

I think the price wasn't bad, obvs its not quick service pricing but it's not exuberant. I did not expect at all the quality of the food we got. I couldn't recommend it enough.

yep, I'm not sure where I can get good mac and cheese. I even tried the one at chicken guy and I couldn't not eat it. Everything else is bomb there though. I absolutely love that place so I was bummed their mac and cheese was meh

as an avid bbq eater, the food was more than okay. I really was suprised by the quality and even the appetizer salads were amazing. the taters were so freaking good. Corn was good, and the slaw was well made.

I think there's fantasmic at 10 pm, so it should be good

That is really good to know. I'll be able to eat the chicken (and I think I saw someone say that you can get salmon as an option as well?) and sides, and my wife and son will be able to eat everything; so we do want the food to be good!
