What are the best options for round trip transfer from MCO to your resort with a larger group? We will have 16 people with us this trip, 10 adults and 6 kids.

I wonder how much it would cost to rent an entire bus? That sounds like a fun trip.

I'd contact Mears to see what their best option might be for you. Their motorcoach rental website shows they have a Minibus seating up to 25, but if you try to book anything 12+ online they want you to call them, 1-866-435-5686

Here's another vote for contacting Mears. Years ago (pre Magical Express) we had a large group and used them. I remember that we thought the cost was very reasonable.

Call Mears, or any of the other local companies that offer larger vehicles.
Some that come to mind:
Ace Luxury Transportation (I have used them and can vouch for them)

We used mears years back for one of our family gatherings . I think there were 15 or so. They were reliable and the cost worked. Did there n back, all set in advance.

Another vote for Mears, they would be the best suited and the more reliable company to handle larger group transportation

Definitely not doing the private minibus transfer from Mears. That option is $810 roundtrip. It’s almost half that to just do the Mears connect shuttle.

I would also check their price on a full sized coach bus. It might actually be slightly less expensive.

I would let every family figure it out transportation for themselves. There’s no reason you should be tasked with this impossible and expensive chore.

Well there’s really only 2 families, mine with my kids and my sister with her kids. I’m not paying for all of it, we’re splitting it. I just want to get us the best rate. You can normally get group rates for things but if it’s better to send the children in 4 or 5 smaller Ubers then we can do that too lol

Also, out of the “adults” listed, it’s by Disney standards (and a lot of the other car/travel companies) so ages 12+. Mears prices a 12 yr old as an adult.

Yes at a Disney hotel but not before DME goes away unfortunately

Is everyone arriving/departing at the same time? Those online taxi services have a max number of people you can get in one vehicle so likely that won't work for the size of your party. Probably just compare pricing for Mears or those other car services mentioned above that would allow your group to travel together or at least keep each family in the same vehicle.

Yes we’re flying in/out all together from the same airport at the same time.

Give FL Tours a call. I used them years ago for a group about that size. We got a small "party type" bus and a van just for luggage. The price worked out better than any other option. Try Tiffany Towncar also.

Edit; It might have Happy Limo now that I'm thinking about it?
